Wow, I can see why James Brown is known as the Godfather of Soul, amazing album, I thought the mixing on this album was fantastic as every instrument came through as well as the crowd (for better or worse at times), the energy of the audience and performers really shown through

I have not really heard Nirvana outside of their hits, I now understand why people like them so much and mourn the death of Kurt. Their grungy sound melds perfectly with his voice and lyrics and as always, I love live performances. Fav: Man Who Sold the World

I enjoyed this one, very easy listening, matched the vibe with the weather today, Summer Breeze Pt. 1&2 is easily the standout for me I know it's mostly an older record thing, but I hate when they repeat songs on albums

Feel like this English rock type sound is just done better by other bands, not impressed

Wow, damn good album, having only heard Hallelujah before I thought the rest would be a similar floaty vibe but I was pleased to be incorrect. Jeff's voice is so good and I loved the rock sound. Eternal Life slaps

Solid album, not much else to say tbh

I like, knew Black Hole Sun, feel like they balance the heavy sluggishness of metal with the more brighter tones of rock really well

"Patrolling the Mohave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter" I am a sucker for this era of music, love me some horns and walking baselines, very much enjoyed this album

Ray Charles into John Coltrane is a powerhouse of a double header. Not one to seek out jazz, but I appreciate it, really enjoyed this album, Coltrane's expertise is a joy to listen to

Idk man, 90s rap just sounds so... underdeveloped and dated so much so that it sounds cheesy to me. That said, I liked Queen Latifah's sound, I'm not a fan of the vocal fry that women rappers of today seem to use a lot

Enjoyed it, feels like a solid definition of 80s pop, Time After Time was and remains a phenomenal song

Gorgeous, amazing ethereal sound, loved it and want to resist while high

I thought it was only stuff pre 2010, let's go This album was a lot of fun, smooooth is the best word I can think of to describe the project as a whole, just really silky to listen to

Ehh, very very Queen which felt like too much Queen, not my favorite collection

Pretty standard Lana, very airy vocals, nothing really stood out to me like NFR

Phenomenal debut album, pack to the brim with classic bangers, might be a little biased because of my dad but I love this album

Iron Maiden is my favorite early metal band but I hadn't actually listened to their debut album, very much enjoyed
