1001 Albums Summary

I’d forgotten how many hits were on this album, which at the time of release was all I had heard on the radio because Metallica wasn’t my jam in high school. Interesting listening to the other tracks with fresh ears. This album rips.

Not a fan of live albums. Audio quality is t great.

The collection of songs seemed non-cohesive. Her unique style of singing was recognizable throughout, but some songs sounded like they were recorded by completely different bands, or written by different songwriters with different grooves in mind. Enjoyed a couple of songs, but the album as a whole had me all over the place.

This might as well be a greatest hits record ffs. And Ozzy was just a wee baby when they recorded this.
