Fear and Whiskey
MekonsVery niche struggling students make a band and play at sketchy underground clubs with 15 people vibe. Few songs were catchy (last two) but non were memorable.

Nice background music.
Very positive surprise!! Liked a couple of songs and added them to a playlist. Always love Mr. Blue Sky!! Very vibey when listened to while in bed at night talking about math being discovered or invented 👍
Radek hates this very passionately so put of solidarity so do I. He also backed up his comments well. (I kinda liked it and hotel california slaps but idk if id go back to any of it).
They made a banger song about Radek so obviously 5/5. I didnt listen to the whole thing (yet) but what I heard I liked even though I am not a huge fan of rap :P for a rap album, it seems fairly decent!
Interesting music. Not my usual vibe. Not sure I would go back to it. I digged some songs. Like the first one but towards the end less songs :/
First half I wanted to cry with each and every song. This is all thanks to the incredible sound of Adele’s powerful voice. So many hits as well?! I also fell in love with turning tables, he won’t go and lovesong. Great album!
I liked the beginning more than the end. Added first song to my playlist :)
I like punk. All of it sounded the same though.
I love his voice! Don’t think I have heard anything like it before. Lots of covers (apparently), which sound amazing. My dad wanted me to learn to play Hurt on my guitar. I couldn’t.
Radek is a hot rat!!! Creepy album cover… lots of monkey sounds, jazzy piano and trumpets maybe. The gumbo variations sounds like they just tried to make as much noise as possible. I had this thought before I knew the title of the track. This would not do well when overstimulated. Almost triggering. When will the noise stop?
Very nize jazz! Dobra spoko!
The songs sound like they could be in an old animated cartoon for kids. Also sounds like Radek’s grandpa’s car. I think the music really fits with the ”!” in the album title. Not the wildest but The Wildest! Indeed. Very retro 50s old movie dancing scene in a diner vibe.
So so so lbb. No wonder Radek likes this. Ooh interesting spooky sounds from a desert. This music feels like the camera work done on the album cover with the crab vibing with its paws up and the camera moving fast in spirals around him. Lbb. Piipaa sounds. Serial killer? Oh, thrilla. Drug music. I am too sober for this. Second to last song and many others sound like from the movie dune.
Started out slightly spooky. Ghostly even? Oooh I like the guitar. Such a long song. FINLAND MENTIONED. The first song already is quite a journey. "Where are you I love you" me to radek rn. I like the instruments on the songs. Marley Purt Drive has a good vibe to it. If I had fifteen kids I would also leave. Wow there is 17 songs. "There's a girl in the rain alone" that should be me. Track 7 made it to my playlist. What a wide variety of types of songs. Seven Seas Symphony is beautiful but sounds like a completely different album. With All Nations too?? Sounds like a national hymn. I actually like the album. A lot of the songs surprised me. Do do doo do doo.
I like this album!! Good vibes I really enjoy the live versions especially and his charisma and the audience’s enthusiasm. Funny songs and prison theme. Lots of headbopping was involved in the listening of this.
Sad boy music!! I listened to this album twice in a row. I like his music a lot overall and enjoyed this album as well. Some songs made it to my playlist right now and I did not know most of the songs beforehand.
Quite good. Not many strong opinions on this.
Overall good music, I really liked the vibe
Overall the most positive uplifting vibes ever. She has an amazing voice
The name fits. Very angsty teenager vibes. Perfectly provides noise to silence thoughts. And it is good noise. Sounds very 70s rock. Little bit of Alabama vibes (I am watching a show taking place there and some songs could be on the soundtrack).
I know Radek likes this. Really great music. I loved each song and the instruments, rhythms, melodies and whatever else is possible to enjoy in a song. Havent listened to a lot of soul or r&b so its new vibe to my ear.
What a good album. I did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did. Only the end of the first song startled me with all the screaming to go away. I was inspired to use it with Radek though, I am sure it will come in handy. Anywho, I had heard at least three songs on the radio before (thanks dad) and I enjoyed them. Radek might be right to say the last song is the best one in the album. This album made me see more of the cute geeky Radek so I am forever grateful <3
Goes well with drinking wine and doing lego flowers/puzzles on the floor of your first apartment with your boyfriend eating garlic bread.
Some of the songs had really good background music vibes. I have very fond memories since Radek cooked shirtless for me while this album played. Lucky me.
They were super high.
Headboppingly good. Good vibes man. Will go back to as an album.
Felt like I am on an all-inclusive holiday
DOOKIEEE. I love the name of the album. I love the punky vibes. Has some serious bangers on it. The cover also matches the vibe. Super good though me and Radek were both bopping our heads to it!
Ähh a little weird. First song and one in the middle goddess on a hiway were good. Otherwise too psychedelic
Pinja tanssii paljon!! Hyvä biisi svengaa kuin hirvi. I did not pay a lot of attention to it but I started moving involuntary to it so its a good sign!
These songs feel like theyre calming down my entire nervous system (except the night the carousel burned down). Closing my eyes and swaying my head from side to side. The only thing missing is candles, dim lighting and a glass of wine. Actually it got a little weirder. Slightly seems like all over the place.
I enjoy it very much. The sounds are very enjoyable. I can see myself listening to this on a long walk in a park.
I LOVE THE SMITHS. I have never listened to this album fully, but I knew two songs already which I love (I know it's over and there is a light that never goes out). I appreciate the length of the album and overall it was just enjoyable throughout. No skips for me except maybeee the last one but it's not that skippable just not my favourite. This is my first 5 stars. I think the smiths deserve it if anyone.
Quite different from what we have heard before here. Lots of the songs sounded the same but I liked the sounds and vocals.
Not my vibe
I dont think I need to explain why. Jk it was ok for a shit genre
Very rock n roll. I dont have much experience w the who. Except who are you. Radek was rocking to it which was adorbs
I like the cover. Turns out im not a big fan of progressive rock.
It had some good moments, but perhaps too experimental for me. I was also trying to finish my assignment and this was blasting loudly in my ear so I got a little overwhelmed by the noise hence also a lower rating (sorry).
Has some serious bangers. A really great album. Like objectively I see how the songs are just amazing. Might not return on my own to this but nonetheless nothing to complain about.
Ah, theeeee vibes. Amazing. I really love it. Radek was right when he said I would like this album.
this progressive rock was already better than the last one. nothing mind blowing for me. but i did not mind it on the background.
prior to listening: i am intrigued by this as i did not like another one of his albums (blonde). the sounds were not for me. the first songs sounded similar to blonde in a way. 'super rich kids' got my attention though and made my head bop involuntarily to the rhythm. i also liked 'pyramids' a lot a lot. a lot of the songs still sound a bit of the same and are slow with weird sounds and a bit boring.
Grey weather vib3.
Truly a good listen. I liked a lot of the songs and the last one really nailed it for me. It sounded like early 2000s movies.
I like the name. Not exactly my type of music or one that I could say I would have listened to before but not bad! I liked seeing how much Radek enjoyed this.
My first Pink Floyd album. The beginning took me by surprise. But I liked it! Especially the 'Wish you were here' song. Later on I was more focused on first Radek being sexy and then poor Roscoe dying. What a rollercoaster.
I liked it however since I do not remember much of it (anything at all really) I have to give it only two stars. It is not the album’s fault necessarily though, I just had an oral exam to prep for so my mind was preoccupied.
I dont think I can truly appreciate the essence of this album without being high.
First song got me tapping my feet. I liked that the song did not sound the same the whole time but towards the end things switched up and I loved it. Dancing queen is obviously iconic. A common theme with the songs is how theyre super uplifting. And the women’s vocals woooow. In track three thats all I could pay attention to. I was completely enchanted by their voices. Oh and now track four Dum Dum Diddle SO FUN!! Bopping my head to Knowing Me, Knowing You. The guitarr AHHHH. Makes me wanna run through the streets. Money, Money, Money also iconic. And relatable. I liked the outro too! What an enjoyable listening experience.
I appreciate the piano, her voice and the comfort that this combination brings.
not my type of music but i did not hate it! different from most music I've listened to but interesting nonetheless
I really like the first song/title track. A marvellous start to a marvellous album. I love the noise in 'Brand New Cadillac'. Impossible to sit still during 'Jimmy Jazz'. The rest of the songs are also very good! Punky!
A lot was going on. I couldnt have predicted what the next song was gonna sound like. Incredibly multidimensional album which can be a good thing but unfortunately I was unable to keep up with it. Still an enjoyable listen overall but unlikely to be anything that I would go back to.
First two songs had very different vibes. The 8min song was good but a little too noisy for me in the end. I hate the cover. And the name.
Very different vibes than the iconic There She Goes song. Unfortunately I did not really vibe with the other songs that much. That song has insanely positive vibes that would make me feel better immediately.
My second Nirvana album! The cover is iconic and the songs seem to level up to that hype. Hit after hit after hit. This might have truly gotten me into the phenomenon that was Nirvana. No skips for me really even though not all songs spoke to me but there are just so many good songs on the album.
My first touch to Peter Gabriel's music. "Red Rain" is a powerful start to an album with a lot of energy that gets you hyped up. The first song with the beginning of "Sledgehammer" really feels like the album building up. I love the bass/guitar in that song. Such an uplifting song that just grabs you and you get so drawn to the instrumentals. So many levels to it as well! An almost perfect song. Kate Bush is great in the next song "Don't Give Up". After two massively energetic songs this is where you just close your eyes, calm down and enjoy the heavenly sounds. The bass in the end is amazing. The songs fade away making space to the next one. Ok in "That Voice Again" the energy is back. The bells in "Mercy Street" are hypnotic. Sort of a spooky and melancholic atmosphere. (Unsurprisingly) energy is back with "Big Time"! I love that none of the songs sound similar to each other. Not at all surprised this album was huge. I am not even sure how to describe "We Do What We're Told" or "This Is The Picture". I like them a little less than the other ones. "In Your Eyes" sounds like a celebration and has this Lion King soundtrack vibe to it.
