Obvious classic, so good

This one was weird for me - there were a lot of parts of this that, if the whole album had been like them I would become obsessed and listen to this on repeat. And then other parts where I wished it wasn’t music I had to hear and wanted to just turn it off. The weird thing for me was that both of those feelings came in each song. So I’m bummed out about not being able to love it.

This sounds a lot like a lot of music I’ve always loved. Unfortunately for it, this just made me want to listen to old favourites, so I may not keep it in rotation

Such a high energy, fun album

He may partake in an occasional apple turnover, but he did know how to make a cracking record back in his day

I enjoyed this, having never listened to it properly before. It was fun, but not something I’m likely to revisit. Except for Drive. That song is still fantastic.

I couldn’t get into this at all. For me it was too jarringly discordant and the vocals were muffled and quiet. Not my jam at all.

I have more experience with Parliament than Funkadelic, and I think I prefer them, but this was still excellent

Fun, like a cross with punk and the B-52s. Lead to a really fun infinite play on Apple Music - Dead Kennedys and the Buzzcocks and whatnot

The hits are absolute bangers, which I never really realised until now. But overall it’s just a bit too much pop for me
