Cross by Justice

I wonder if anyone rating this above 2 stars was high on drugs because I have trouble believing it’s possible to enjoy thiswithout a shitload of LSD in your system I dont like to say this because I understand music is subjective but here it goes: this is crap

Bad by Michael Jackson
Dec 13 2025
Brothers by The Black Keys
Dec 16 2025

I’d actually give it a 3.5. It’s a nostalgic album for me but it suffers from something I thought only the last albums from The Black Keys suffered: it does feel like you’re listening to the same 3 songs for an hour. I guess I looked at this one with rose-colored glasses

Time Out by The Dave Brubeck Quartet
Dec 19 2025
Dec 24 2025

Muse’s greatest song was featured in a film about shining vampires. Take that as you will. I’m giving 2 because I thought it would be much worse actually and because Supermassive Black Hole is a very good song (I just cant take it serious as Muse would like to because it’s intertwined with lines of the likes of “BELLA THIS IS THE SKIN OF A KILLER”)

Songs The Lord Taught Us by The Cramps
Dec 25 2025

I felt like stopping it in the middle but my husband said he “loved” this one, so I insisted. As of right now I’m kind of mad with him because I definitely should have stopped in the middle. It does not get better. I liked Whats Behind the Mask, though

Dec 27 2025

It definitely suffers from the same problem of so many 90s / early 00s albums: it’s too long and would be much better if it was made to fit in 47 minutes

No Other by Gene Clark
Dec 28 2025

I was Kinda enjoying and I thought of rating it a 4 but them I had to stop when the last song started and didnt feel like coming back. So it’s a 3

...And Justice For All by Metallica
Dec 30 2025

I dont think I can fairly rate this because I do refuse to listen to this in full. Very repetitive, very “mom, look how fast I can play!”. I gave up on track 2 and went straight to One, since so many reviews praise it. This one is ok I guess

Hail To the Thief by Radiohead
Jan 06 2026

My therapist will not like this but I had forgotten how good Radiohead is. I’ll return listening to them on a regular basis

Garbage by Garbage
Jan 08 2026

It sounds so 90s I have no option but to love it. Yes Im a sucker for 90s alt music

Figure 8 by Elliott Smith
Jan 09 2026

I feel this could be a 3.5 but Cant Make a Sound melody is so gorgeous in its melancholy I feel compeled to rate it 4

Axis: Bold As Love by Jimi Hendrix
Jan 10 2026

I must confess I didnt love the Electric Ladyland, my only experience with a Jimi Hendrix’s album in full, so I was surprised I actually liked this one!

Ace of Spades by Motörhead
Jan 11 2026

I liked the riffs and melodies way more than I was expecting I'm not the kind of person that believes all lyrics should have deep meanings but these ones are just too silly to ignore, bordering misogyny. I'd give it a 4 for the songs only and 1 for the lyrics. Make it a 2, maybe? or 3? IDK

Blur by Blur
Jan 12 2026

Beetlebum and Song 2 are great but the rest is just OK. 35 albums in and I believe this is the first one I own in a physical format. Overall I think the best album Blur has ever made is their Best Of. Souce: I am fucking MADFERIT. Sorry

Paul's Boutique by Beastie Boys
Jan 14 2026

more on the 3,5 side; I thought it got a little fatiguing towards the end

War by U2
Jan 20 2026
Kimono My House by Sparks
Jan 21 2026

I'll be honest and say I got to know Sparks through FFS That's a good record

Crosby, Stills & Nash by Crosby, Stills & Nash
Jan 24 2026

More like on the 3,5 spectrum, but closer to 4, I think. It's not quite my cup of tea but the harmonies are beautiful.

Actually by Pet Shop Boys
Jan 26 2026

More like on the 3,5 spectrum. I like it but it can get repetitive at some points

Homework by Daft Punk
Jan 28 2026

Another electronic music album I am not finishing. I managed to get halfway through it and got the ideia If I wanted to listen to this shit Id take my earphones off on my old gym (and electronic music is the reason I left that one and chose another instead)

Jan 31 2026

I've seem people choosing Love of My Life as a wedding song, which is insane. This one is sad as fuck. I love Queen but I cannot listen to Bohemian Rahpsody without thinking of that Glee scene HAHAHAH please don't kill me

Vanishing Point by Primal Scream
Feb 05 2026

Some are killers some are fillers

Feb 10 2026

Soul is definitely not my cup of tea but I can recognize this is good and well executed. I'm torn between giving it 3 or 4 stars because I do believe it deserves 4 stars; problem is I was saving 4 stars for "things I'd keep a physical copy of" (even if it's something I think it deserves 3 stars but I like the genre / artist anyway) So.... it's tricky

Rocks by Aerosmith

Franz Ferdinand by Franz Ferdinand
Mar 25 2026

WORDS ARE POISONED DARTS OF PLEASURE I've had no problem over the years in recognizing that music that I used to love was not good at all but this is not the case with FF's debut. Franz Ferdinand definitely deserves to be here, even more if you consider the amount of bullshit you'll find in this list. I'll be honest and say this is one of my favorite albums ever. Do I think it's a groundbreaking masterpiece? no. Would it still be one of my favorites if it wasn't in this list? yes. FF has marked my teenagehood and my adult life as well. Seeing them live as an adult was a cathartic experience for me I never thought I needed so much Even so, I can see putting any other of their albums in the 1001 Albums list would definitely be a stretch even though I really enjoy them
