a couple songs stood out to me otherwise i didn’t really vibe with the rest too heavily but overall it’s definitely something i’d put on every now and then :D

I will preface by saying my dad would probably kill me if I gave this album less than a 4. Thoroughly enjoyed this one, more than i do with most of these album suggestions so far, but i feel like it drops a few points for me due its length. Not denying Hendrix's talent at all, clearly one of the greatest to ever do it, just sometimes feels like the melody runs away in a few tracks and kind of lingers around until he's back on course. Feels like such a nit-pick regardless, the highs really outweigh any negatives I have.

plenty of iconic songs - thank you guardians vol 1 🙌 probably only a handful of weaker songs, otherwise one my of my favourite entries so far of this album a day journey :D

a cool and smooth half hour, felt like a cup of coffee on a brisk autumn morning

really enjoyed the first half of this album quite a bit but my interest died off into the latter maybe it deserves another listen so that it might grow on me

I can see why this album was quite the craze when it released, offering a refreshing perspective on the industry. The writing is brash and intrepid, i like it. Overall I didn't vibe with most of the tracks, Gunshy was lowkey the standout for me.

i couldn’t get with this one unfortunately

Surprised to see Willie Nelson pop back up so soon on here but it’s always welcome. Country music is something i’d never seek out usually but i think if im in the right mood i’d chuck this one Bandera lowkey gave me some animal crossing vibes half way through, thought i accidentally switched tracks

genuinely all hits, no misses

really fun, honestly did a double take hearing pixies

don’t think i’ve never not liked Stevie Wonder’s music, genuinely feel so warm whenever i hear his songs

keep throwing blues music my way and i’ll enjoy every second of it

didn’t really get this one, only one or two songs i gelled with otherwise this felt like a discombobulated strung together album

The beginning of “This Corrosion” has me feeling like I was listening to a Mr.Bean episode. Very upbeat, every song had something different to offer, would listen again :)

does marvin gaye have a clue fr? makes me wanna learn to slow dance

not god himself can make give this less than a 5 this album makes me want to get my life together at 2am, sense of hope and wonder and all the above you feel

helps that i’ve heard this album before, dad’s a big fan and i am too by proxy

pretty forgettable, first song had me thinking i'd really enjoy this one

Leave home sounds like the extended cut of the “you wouldn’t download a car” piracy ad, can see this whole album being apart of some mid 2000's indie rock film the songs flowed pretty nicely into each other as well, absolutely love when artists do that makes you want to listen to the whole album one too many mornings and alive alone felt like a movie character send off, they're walking off into the sunset onto new beginnings as the credits roll. maybe im just describing the album cover playground was essentially goop vibes, my brain was getting scanned, that probably makes no sense but that's what i heard i can say i didn't have high expectations for this one coming in but i enjoyed it more than i thought i would

i can see why it’s so influential Saw hard times and immediately thought of paramore, maybe i should listen to some paramore

i feel like i'd be crucified if i didn't give this a 4 or higher but i really didn't like this considering how popular nirvana is. 1 Star for their pop-culture impact and 1 star for All Apologies

my brain-rotted ass had me thinking i was listening to a family guy episode with flight of the foo birds this album definitely got me in the mood to watch a chicago or moulin rouge to scratch that musical in a the big bustling city vibe

ultimate sad boy album, whenever i hear sparks i immediately think of sad nba player edits - otherwise a little overhyped i reckon but still good maybe i’d like this more if i was more heartbroken

this was electric, so many iconic songs my first 5 i believe from an artist/band that i haven’t heard from before
