Definitely original. Not a lot of sonic enjoyment for me personally. “Stay”’was the highlight

I’m not a hip hop fan but this has a lot of musical elements that work great together.

Great album!! Very unique sound, lots of changes in the songs. A real find for me!!

I’m not even a blues fan but the quality of sound from the instrumentalists is out of this world. I find vocals hit and miss, really missing on All My Love and What’d I Say. Also the drum solo in What’d I Say needed another take, or they should’ve left it out — drummer is otherwise sublime in holding very driving grooves!

Three stars for an album that has strong reggae elements is a high rating for me. I’m just not a reggae person, but I liked the fusion into different styles, with more enjoyment of songs that just have some reggae flair

Legendary group and album The quality of the funk is so consistently high, and they come across as if it’s the easiest thing in the world for them, that it feels like someone just happened to turn the mic on for a few minutes at a time, and they just lived that way all day. Unreserved and unapologetically fun and funky. 6/5 stars for me. Absolutely awesome.
