I really like it! It felt very emotional and personal to her, while at the same time being relatable and meaningful to me. She had a couple songs that I didn’t know were by her, and can’t wait to listen to more of her. Love her voice and vibe! Favorite songs were Home Again, Beautiful, and It’s Too Late but really can’t choose.
I really like the Velvet Underground, and Pale Blue Eyes was already one of my favorite songs so I loved listening to the rest! I really like this era of music and I thought they have a really cool, diverse spread on this one album. I LOVED After Hours, and found it super nice at the end. It feels super cozy and comforting compared to some other music I’ve heard from them, and that’s why I like it so much.
At first I was surprised and interested in the way there were only six songs on the album, and I liked how each was longer. It wasn’t my favorite album ever, but I do see how it is popular or influential because of how different the sound and writing is. I really liked the storytelling through the music, and I added a couple off this album and their other songs to my playlist!
I don’t normally listen to reggae, but I really liked this album and could see myself listening to it more. I really loved the storytelling through the songs. It felt super meaningful and important to culture, and I love when music is able to portray those complex feelings.
Love Elvis!!! I watched the biopic when it came out however many years ago, but it lost me because I felt like they didn’t do enough of highlighting his music cause it’s so good! I love the lyrics and his voice is obviously amazing. My favorites were Only the Strong Survive, Gentle on My Mind, Any Day Now, and Suspicious Minds.
Really liked this one! I like some of their more popular songs, but I had never really listened to much else of them. I like how the album is structured and the very lively feel to it. I like the jam vibes they have with the super long instrumentals, and I love how they end with “Long As I Can See the Light”
So excited for this one! love Bruce Springsteen since I would listen with my dad when I was younger. My favorite part is how Born in the USA is literally a protest song but so many republican politicians took it as a national anthem, just how ironic I love it! Really amazing album, my favs were I’m on Fire and I’m Goin Down.
I didn’t think I would really like this one, and while it’s not my favorite, I think AC/DC makes really good music! I bet it was so awesome to listen to when it first came out. They have a to of hits, and I can see this album being a no skip album for people who really like hard rock. I like their unique sound and it is a really good album!
