I really like it! It felt very emotional and personal to her, while at the same time being relatable and meaningful to me. She had a couple songs that I didn’t know were by her, and can’t wait to listen to more of her. Love her voice and vibe! Favorite songs were Home Again, Beautiful, and It’s Too Late but really can’t choose.
I really like the Velvet Underground, and Pale Blue Eyes was already one of my favorite songs so I loved listening to the rest! I really like this era of music and I thought they have a really cool, diverse spread on this one album. I LOVED After Hours, and found it super nice at the end. It feels super cozy and comforting compared to some other music I’ve heard from them, and that’s why I like it so much.
At first I was surprised and interested in the way there were only six songs on the album, and I liked how each was longer. It wasn’t my favorite album ever, but I do see how it is popular or influential because of how different the sound and writing is. I really liked the storytelling through the music, and I added a couple off this album and their other songs to my playlist!
I don’t normally listen to reggae, but I really liked this album and could see myself listening to it more. I really loved the storytelling through the songs. It felt super meaningful and important to culture, and I love when music is able to portray those complex feelings.
Love Elvis!!! I watched the biopic when it came out however many years ago, but it lost me because I felt like they didn’t do enough of highlighting his music cause it’s so good! I love the lyrics and his voice is obviously amazing. My favorites were Only the Strong Survive, Gentle on My Mind, Any Day Now, and Suspicious Minds.
Really liked this one! I like some of their more popular songs, but I had never really listened to much else of them. I like how the album is structured and the very lively feel to it. I like the jam vibes they have with the super long instrumentals, and I love how they end with “Long As I Can See the Light”
So excited for this one! love Bruce Springsteen since I would listen with my dad when I was younger. My favorite part is how Born in the USA is literally a protest song but so many republican politicians took it as a national anthem, just how ironic I love it! Really amazing album, my favs were I’m on Fire and I’m Goin Down.
I didn’t think I would really like this one, and while it’s not my favorite, I think AC/DC makes really good music! I bet it was so awesome to listen to when it first came out. They have a to of hits, and I can see this album being a no skip album for people who really like hard rock. I like their unique sound and it is a really good album!
I was not a huge fan of this one to be honest. I really don’t like the electronic style of music, but I do see how it may have been influential and something people hadn’t heard before. I thought it was definitely unique, but definitely not something I would listen to on my own.
I love older country music way more than more modern country. I feel like it’s super emotional and personal and quite beautifully written. A lot of country sounds the same to me, including this one, but I still think it’s pretty good.
Wow! I’ve never heard of this album but it’s super nice and fun to listen to! I feel like it doesn’t stand out a lot against some other music I love, but it is a very solidly written and sounding album!
I’m not really an R & B person so I didn’t love this one. Sounds cool and I do like how there’s only four songs, it feels like it’s one flow throughout the album. Not bad at all thought, and for 1969 it sounds very modern!
I’m honestly not really feeling any of these electronic genre albums. And the songs that are just straight up music kinda pisses me off. I’m all for no lyrics, but for half of the album to be that is a bit annoying. Anyway, it was probably a new thing to hear when it came out so good for that.
I like this era of rock music a lot. I like how the songs all sound a little different and there’s a lot of variety. It’s really fun to listen to!
I really like this one. I can decently hear how this one is transitioning into that 80s genre of music you think of when you think of 80s, so I can see how this inspired many others. I like how fun and colorful it is!
I love the French lyrics and songs that’s so cool! I really like how different every track sounds and it’s just overall a really unique and interesting album to listen to. Definitely not something I’ve ever heard before and I like that cause I want to listen to things that are not normal to me!
I’ve heard this one before! I really liked it and I like how the album flows between each song. By the end it mellowed out a bit and I really liked that. It’s super fun and a really good listen!
I didn’t really think I would like this because I haven’t been really liking any of the more recent albums, but it surprised me. It was interesting and I liked her voice throughout it.
I love Fleetwood Mac!!! One of my favorite songs of all time is on this album, Sara. I literally feel like levitating when I listen to that song it’s actually so amazing. I really love this album, and so many of the songs ended up on my playlist. It’s pretty long and has a lot of songs, but they’re all different and beautiful and didn’t feel like over an hour of listening time. Amazing!
I like the smiths a lot! They have a very distinct sound and I’ve already listened to a bunch of these songs not knowing the album because I feel like they have a very cohesive sound across their discography. Love them, and they’re nice to listen to!
I like how this album sounds, and I can definitely tell it’s from 1969. A lot of music from that time kind of sounds like this (I can her the drugs), but I think its really cool! The songs are simple, but fun and interesting!
This is actually kind of cool and like should I listen to it the next time I’m in an airport?
I feel like this album is the type of music I think of when I think of early 2000s music. This one is a much different sounding album than their 2013 one that I’ve heard and is really popular, which surprised me but I liked!
This is actually one of my favorite albums of all time, I think one of the best ever made. He was so talented and I will just never get over it he was amazing. Lilac Wine will always make me stop when I listen to it, and I just love it so much
I love The Rolling Stones! This is probably one of my favorite albums by them, I just really like the sound. This is probably my favorite era of music, and the stones were one of the biggest at the time. It felt very cohesive and was super fun to listen to!
I like the first song on the album, super cool! Like the album as a whole and the sound of it, it definitely gives fun 70s vibes.
