1001 Albums Summary

I liked the first track ‘Disorder’, but the rest of the tracks I didn’t particularly enjoy - made me a feel uncomfortable/not relaxed… not really my style I guess

This album was so fun and unexpected! Each song almost felt like a different genre and it kept me on my toes (in a good way). Really enjoyed the quality of his voice, too.

What a voice!! This album is hit after hit, and has aged so well. Great record all in all, my first easy 5 stars

Fun, fresh, music I would be happy to dance to or enjoy on a drive

There were some fun moments, especially discovering the guitar solo in’Free Bird’ that’s been used in a bunch of movies! But overall it was too durgy for my liking.

Some classics on this album - can’t go past ‘Don’t Know Why’ and ‘Come Away With Me’! But the rest of the album was pretty samey and not too memorable. A nice listen but not groundbreaking

Loved this whole album! It’s 55 years old this year but the style feels pretty timeless, great music!

A little bit durgy but had some nice moments overall. Wouldn’t listen again but added ‘Heatwave’ to my best of albums playlist!

This isn’t generally the style of music I’d go for, but wow it somehow really gets you to sit up and listen. I kept thinking (sadly) how crazy it is that the lyrics are still so applicable today, especially with what’s going on in the US currently. And this was from 34 years ago!
