1001 Albums Summary

1st time listening to this album, Fame is the only song I knew for sure going in. It’s funky, has that soul that Bowie was able to throw down. I’m not Ieducated much in his discography, it was fun but I don’t think I’d visit a whole album listen again? 3.5/5

Honestly I zoned out a lot

I hate Morissey

It’s not my favorite, I prefer hearing Nico sing over that man. Overall I think they released this album at the right time because it sounds a little rooough. It makes me want to listen to more of them tho, I want the better understanding of why people like them so much

Lyrics are clearly outdated but the beats are freshhhhhhh

This reminded me of Papi sitting in the backyard by himself, sitting shirtless in the big brown chair. That was when he was nice to me so this made me a little sad but it mostly made me feel nostalgic.

I understand that this is supposed to be an album making fun of big radio but oh myyyy god a full album of this is so boring. We would have gotten the joke if this was 10 minutes long.

Fun as usuaaaaaal

This is a long ass album. I can’t believe I’ve never listened to it all the way through until today. It’s so so good

Punk is not in the usual rotation. Music is fun, pretty easy listening experience. His voice is a little rough

What a shame that her talent didn’t get to have more time. I’m surprised with how much I enjoyed listening to this

Ummmm it’s sad hearing his sickness and age in his voice. Pretty experimental. Don’t really like.

Another artist I’m super unfamiliar with. The start was a very different vibe from her 90’s beginnings

step on me & lovefool are the standouts of cooourse. The vocals and actual instruments are what keeps this album together, the lyrics can be wack sometimes.

They do have talent & it is a solid album but it’s on site fleet foxes. I h8 u

Not a personal favorite but it isn’t terrible. Sometimes I don’t think the music meshes with her vocals

This was fun until it wasn’t. I was at work while listening so I’d have to stop and pick it back up over the course of 3 hours which made the album feel like it was 3 hours. It makes you feel like you’re at a Disney resort in the tropics but the specifically want an African vibe, so you’re stuck in this upbeat purgatory. This music was tight though
