Birth Of The Cool by Miles Davis

When I hear a jazz album, it might sound superficial, but I just don’t want to my hear beaten to death by high pitches of the trumpet. And this one manage to make jazz extremely enjoyable and fun while also technically brilliant. As of now one of the best if not the best jazz album I ever heard. Might be higher on based on future listens

Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots by The Flaming Lips
Jan 09 2026

Fucking the worst album ina long minute, sounds like two high scholer got assign to do the sound track to the shittiest play about robots falling in love. Could not manage to finish it after 5 songs

Bayou Country by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Jan 10 2026

Pure rock and roll from the sixties with a bit of country and so simple and so good. Is the perfect mix between rock, blues and folk music. Both guitar sound great with the solo guitar having that tele classic sound that is just impeccable. The voice is also very raw but good and powerful. Just a little more innovation to make it a better score was needed

Jan 11 2026

Unbelievable album with the voices of Frank and Johim, is a bossa nova version of Sinatra which makes it interesting and a great short listen. but after a couple of songs they all feel kind of the same and it feels more like a cover band. Although that might be the intent, it still think is a good album but it could have been even better with more classics.

Crocodiles by Echo And The Bunnymen
Jan 15 2026

Decent rock album from the 80’s is better than I expected and the music is pretty good. I didn’t get bored nor it was corny. It was good rock music without yet reaching glam rock style in full. So yep just enjoyable

Blood On The Tracks by Bob Dylan
Jan 20 2026

Pretty solid album by dylan, need to pay more attention to the story telling but a great album to listen on a chill day to relax too.

The Velvet Underground & Nico by The Velvet Underground
Jan 22 2026

It’s probably higher, giving the cultural context and how many artists the influence, the lyrics are great. But sound is just really bad. If it was made with the sound of today I think it would be a great to excellent record. Lyrically is fantastic

Parallel Lines by Blondie
Jan 23 2026

Incredible album of rock and great for its time. A couple of classics and very raw but tidy. Forgot about the oasis cigarrettes and alcohol innovation. Is a solid 9

Axis: Bold As Love by Jimi Hendrix
Jan 24 2026

Borderline excellent album, is fucking insane what he can do with a guitar and plus he’s singing at the same time which is just stupid how difficult it is. The sounds for 67 are heavy and tight. Unbelievable how he change music. A little but to stale and repetitive at times. But overall a great record that needs to be relisten

Juju by Siouxsie And The Banshees

Truth And Soul by Fishbone
Feb 04 2026

Is such a weird record, but so interesting listening all together. Is a band who said fuck it we will mix genre but we will make it make sense. Very interesting and 80’s but the good aspects of the 80s

Feb 13 2026

Weird sounds pretty innovative for the time, with arabs sounds and electronic instrumentation but just too fucking weird and it felt like noises that someone does with their first juno keyboard

Hot Fuss by The Killers
Feb 17 2026

Solid all around and Mr brightside just makes this go fromo an 8.5 to a 9. But great vocals and kind of new sounds for rock in the 00’s. So a well deserved 9

Blunderbuss by Jack White
Feb 20 2026

Decent bluesy album by Jack white, it is good and some choices were fantastic innovative but not enough. Is a good record for a rotation, but didn’t kill me

Dance Mania by Tito Puente
Feb 23 2026

Sounds like a great salsa album, although I need more experience listening to make a meaningful review.
