Simple foot tapping folk music. I found his distinctive voice a bit whiny at times. Lyrics may well be personal but a bit self indulgent.

Not as upbeat as I'd hoped. Surprised that this was as successful as it has been. Not funky or soulful enough.

Great disco sounds. Definitely dance like no one is watching.

Trying too hard. Sounds like a mixed up tribute band to me

Don't consider Brian Eno to be David Bowie's saviour, but thank goodness David got well and gave us Heroes. Scary Monsters etc and Let's Dance. If there had been no more from this man, we had plenty of his genius to enjoy.

Excellent, loved this album since I first heard many many years ago.

Signs of better things to come Jean Genie still the best to dance to.

Marmite. Don't like him so much, feels like he knows he's on to a good thing and is taking the Mickey. That said, some good britpop and a couple of genuine heartfelt songs.

Bit too plinky plonky. Very dated.

Easy listening at it's easiest. What a voice, relief on covers though.

The original influencers of so many different styles. There's a real honesty and truth to their work.
