After The Gold Rush by Neil Young
Feb 01 2026

Simple foot tapping folk music. I found his distinctive voice a bit whiny at times. Lyrics may well be personal but a bit self indulgent.

Feb 02 2026

Not as upbeat as I'd hoped. Surprised that this was as successful as it has been. Not funky or soulful enough.

We Are Family by Sister Sledge
Feb 03 2026

Great disco sounds. Definitely dance like no one is watching.

Hot Rats by Frank Zappa
Feb 04 2026

Not for me.

Bossanova by Pixies
Feb 05 2026

Trying too hard. Sounds like a mixed up tribute band to me

Low by David Bowie
Feb 06 2026

Don't consider Brian Eno to be David Bowie's saviour, but thank goodness David got well and gave us Heroes. Scary Monsters etc and Let's Dance. If there had been no more from this man, we had plenty of his genius to enjoy.

Aladdin Sane by David Bowie
Feb 08 2026

Signs of better things to come Jean Genie still the best to dance to.

Kala by M.I.A.
Feb 09 2026

Sorry, bit young for me!!!

Life Thru A Lens by Robbie Williams
Feb 11 2026

Marmite. Don't like him so much, feels like he knows he's on to a good thing and is taking the Mickey. That said, some good britpop and a couple of genuine heartfelt songs.

Brilliant Corners by Thelonious Monk
Feb 12 2026

Bit too plinky plonky. Very dated.

Close To You by Carpenters
Feb 13 2026

Easy listening at it's easiest. What a voice, relief on covers though.

Rubber Soul by Beatles
Feb 14 2026

The original influencers of so many different styles. There's a real honesty and truth to their work.

Raw Power by The Stooges
Feb 15 2026

Powerhouses of punk, rock and pop. Raw indeed.

Fly Or Die by N.E.R.D
Feb 16 2026

Many many influences. Bit harsh in places. Glad that Pharrell got to be Happy.

Stardust by Willie Nelson
Feb 17 2026

Easy easy listening. Recognisable voice that makes you smile when you hear it, no matter what song.

21 by Adele
Feb 21 2026

That voice, those lyrics, the feelings!

Electric by The Cult
Feb 25 2026

Not exactly AC/DC or Iron Maiden.

Dust by Screaming Trees
Feb 26 2026

Not as hard as led to believe. No doubt still great for the mosh pit. I liked it. 😁

At San Quentin by Johnny Cash
Feb 27 2026

Good man or bad man he's definitely engaging. Heartf lt honky tonk with a wry smile.

Queen II by Queen
Feb 28 2026

Signs of better things to come

Underwater Moonlight by The Soft Boys
Mar 02 2026

Soft. Gentle. Ok.but why bother with the retrospective critical acclaim? Not worth it.

Music in Exile by Songhoy Blues
Mar 04 2026

Elephant by The White Stripes
Mar 06 2026

Mar 07 2026

Of it's time ...I suppose. Not enough for me to listen to more.

Comical. Bad.

Sunshine Hit Me by The Bees
