Great album. I've heard plenty of blues, including Muddy, so thought it would be a snoozefest, but this live performance takes it to another level. If nothing else, get a load of what the backing band is doing. Phenomenal.

An amazing musical journey that I never wanted to end. So many styles and sounds so fresh after repeated listening. I rate this one of the top albums ever.

One of the most hypnotic albums ever. I can remember hearing it in the 90s, exactly where I was and the scenery in my view. And I've listened to it countless times since. It's still unlike any album i know (except for maybe a Bowie or two), defying classification.

Hot stuff, if you're into organ. The backing band is fantastic.

A great mix of funk and ballads. Worth listening on repeat for a wonderful 45 minute adventure.

Incredible and transcendent. Maybe not suitable for a jazz newbie or someone who's demanding of a melody, but it’s pure expression. Timeless and powerful for any time of the day.

A mellow album but solid in delivery. The arrangements, strings and all, are timeless and beautiful. It deserves repeat listens to fully absorb what all is happening lyrically and musically.

Beautiful album. I can't believe i overlooked it all these years. Floating and calm samba, sultry and slinky bass lines, fun brass songs. Putting this one on repeat!

I'm a bit fatigued from too much Coldplay over the years. But I'll admit this is a decent álbum, nicely arranged songs.

It's a decent album but I found it lacking edginess, a tad too slick in places.

I'm not sure why this is on the list. It was probably a fun experiment for the artist but it comes off like a DJ cobbled together some clips and pieces of film noir stuff.

Although it's got a 60s vibe, there's enough working here to make it timeless. Worth of repeat listens.

Damn fine. The Stones at their raggedy best.

Lots of hits. I didn't want to like this but found it more enjoyable and spiky than expected. Cyndi done good.

I'm not normally a hip hop lover but, and I can't believe I'm writing this, it's a banger. Maybe not much that's groundbreaking but it's bad ass from start to finish, some different musical approaches that are totally worth hearing again.

A classic

I suppose it sounded new and different in the 80s. Hazy, fuzzy, unclear vocals, shoegaze must be a state of mind, one I don't typically inhabit.

Nope,not my kind of thing. I suppose a few are okay: Drew Barrymore, Weekend, and Garden. I can appreciate some of the effort but it sounds put on, not genuine, more like an attempt at sounding tough. I barely made it through the few songs I listened to.

A debut album that is truly blistering.

Sounds dated but gotta admire the harmonies and album in general. Worth playing again, it sets a decent vibe.

I didn't want like this--am not a huge Beach Boys fan, although they're growing on me as i get older--but this contains some true gems. Funkier than expected, nice arrangements including horn sections. Worth listening to on repeat for a while.

Decent psychedelic pop although it screams 60s andbcan be abit Hobbity. Good horn arrangements andvthe accordion fits in surprisingly well.

One need not know of its best selling status to figure out it's an excellent album. Fun, thoughtful, top tier musicianship, I plan on listening to this on repeat!

Surprisingly fresh for being an album at the birth of rock n roll. Sounds old (no duh) but sounds real and soulful.

Fabulous album, and am not just saying that because I grew up with most of the tunes. It's sounds like the kind of band you'd wanna see live. They are freaking smoking!

Caveat: I grew up listening to Steely Dan and I still love 'em. Pretzel Logic is fab, a precursor to the sound that would emerge as Aja. The musicianship and arrangements are top notch. I could listen to this almost daily without tiring of it.

It's missing some oomph, somehow, although a few songs are fun & Elvis-y enough that it's okay.

Extremely listenable, even if not understanding the languages. It's bare bones approach plus sound snippets make it very intriguing. Looking forward to listening on repeat.
