1001 Albums Summary

Gilmore girls Natural woman Like the female version of Dylan But most of her songs have been recorded by far better artists for the iconic versions

I can see the importance of a female 80s style album in 78. Two iconic songs and a banger as last track, otherwise meh.

His composed sections are beautiful. Last song is great. His noodling is sparse and masturbatory. It's like SIMs building music but worse.

Like a rolling stone! Followed by a bunch of rambling tunes attempting to tell stories.

Grunge, and not so great at that

I almost skipped this album after having "been told" to listen to Dylan's Highway 61 Revisited (which is a horrendous album). Blonde on Blonde redeemed my view of Dylan - this has much better songwriting and musicality, and while he still doesn't make the best lyrics they aren't the rambling jibberish heard on Highway 61.

I have tried very hard in this 1001 conquest to remain open-minded and rate albums for their musicality and quality - even if the genre is not my favorite. But this no-talent ass clown repeats the same annoying lyrics sample over and over and over for every one of his tracks and it absolutely drove me mad. This is my first album to be rated a 1/5. To be fair, about half of the beats were acceptable and even catchy at times, but even the beats never really grew or transitioned or blossomed throughout the songs. If there were a 0/5 I would still rate this a 1/5 for the ability to at least form a simple beat. I will most certainly skip any and all future Moby albums that come up from this website. It is cyclical, repetitive, and masturbatory.
