It was OK. Interlude was one of the best moments of the album. 57/100

Can’t go wrong with Nile Rodgers and this era of disco. Exactly my vibe. We are family is probably the worst song and that’s saying something

Ok I know it’s occult or wtv but I happened to have listened to this a few days before and musically it’s super expansive and immersive while being still easily accessible and catchy. That being said I won’t be listening to this again 😭

No cars go is one of my favourite songs ever

Someone could probably make something fire sampling this record but I don’t see any situation I’d ever go back and listen to it myself

Extremely solid punk album, could see myself returning to it and finding more things to enjoy about it on every listen

Definitely an acquired taste, not sure if it’s for me. It flip flops between some beautiful little tunes to some jarring ideas that don’t feel fully fleshed out IMO.

If anyone gives this anything other than a 5 they better have a valid reason

Can definitely see the influence this has had on jangle pop and modern indie music. I like how weird they got at times. Solid stuff EDIT: I AM EASILY INFLUENCED AND I THINK I DIDNT LISTEN TO THIS ALBUM CLOSELY ENOUGH TO REALIZE ITS REALLY NOTHING THAT SPECIAL

I’m not sure I can take any more of the back and forth vocals Ya I’m sure this album had to exist for hip hop to be where it is today but damn it does not hold up . It’s good for like 1 song, I did not need the same thing 9 times

Perfect album. The Cure goated

Love this. best moments were the instrumentals for me. Some of the guest vocalists fell a little flat for me but the music behind vocals on those songs remained fantastic

It’s not up to you , Harm of will, Unison are good songs. No doubt she has an amazing voice especially when belting. The instrumentals are great too. Her delivery does come off as a biiit pretentious and overly artsy sounding at times. Just not sure I’m at a very Bjork time of my life. Perhaps down the line I’ll revisit this and it’ll hit me even more.

Beer music

A lot of the songs feel like they build up with no real payoff, and the music can kind of blend into the background occasionally, especially with the vocals often being very buried in the mix. I did listen to this a couple of times and it did start to grow on me with the second listen though. The second half of the LP definitely has a lot more life to it

There’s some all time goat tracks on here but also some more forgettable ones. The highs are extremely high tho

I didn’t have time to listen to this yesterday but I had listened to it a couple months ago and i guess this feels like a good score for it

This is good 80s music but i honestly only made it 3/4 of the way through and got so bored i had to listen to something else. A lot of these songs follow a similar structure and it gets repetitive and old quite fast

Even though much of this album sounds pretty same-y, there is no denying the talent. Quite pleasing to my ears as an album.

Quite cheesy at times but also had some great peaks and the drumming was rly good

Gooooood album

Not my favourite Bowie album but an extremely solid listen nonetheless. He definitely needed albums like this to perfect his style later on

I like Moby but not sure I like him for more than like 5 songs in a row. I do feel like the tv show montage vibe of his music loses its novelty after a little bit. All things considered this is still a solid album

I listened to this while making hummus and it was kind of a vibe, but then it continued for another hour. A bit too much Indian weirdo stuff for me

Layla is really good but as an album not doing a whole lot for me

I freakin love this album. I feel like it’s the blueprint of what the album experience should be. Perfect pacing and doesn’t overstay its welcome. 1000000/10

My go to jazz album

I enjoyed this so much more than I was expecting. The windmills of your mind is a song I will be going back to for sure

I made it like two songs in and technically speaking it’s really good I was just really not in the headspace for over an hour of this

Can’t listen to this much in clean conscience but definitely one of the best rap albums ever
