Off The Wall by Michael Jackson
Apr 06 2026

Very funky and fun to listen to while working my retail shift. Cool !

Lust For Life by Iggy Pop
Apr 07 2026

pretty good! not my usual type of stuff i listen to, but it’s important to respect the roots of my favorite music. Passenger mentioned! listened to this to calm my nerves before a shitty presentation.

Nebraska by Bruce Springsteen
Apr 10 2026

I appreciate how calm this made me feel

Channel Orange by Frank Ocean
Apr 14 2026

i will never get tired of this album

The Contino Sessions by Death In Vegas
Apr 15 2026

it was so good and so trippy, reminds me of portishead

White Ladder by David Gray
Apr 16 2026

David is talented, but this particular album didn’t stick with me too much (i did like his cover of soft cell tho!)

My Generation by The Who
Apr 17 2026

i have pretty ambivalent feelings toward this album—it’s pretty decent. Easy to listen to and catchy at times but i prefer other things honestly

Apr 21 2026

i really wish i could leave half star reviews, because in my heart this is a 3.5: some classic hits, some fun stuff, some calm songs. mgmt is cool but this album left me wanting more. idk

Highway 61 Revisited by Bob Dylan
Apr 22 2026

Well, it’s Bob Dylan; he’s not my favorite folk singer, but this album was pretty nice: melodic, fun, light. This is one of his better records in my opinion :)

Central Reservation by Beth Orton
Apr 23 2026

i went on a walk, it rained on me and then i saw a rainbow. i was high the whole time

Blue by Joni Mitchell
Apr 27 2026

umm it didn’t really stick with me, no song really stood out, i prefer other folk albums to this one

Moving Pictures by Rush
Apr 29 2026

this is more like a 3.5, fun and energetic, but i think it’s a little formulaic. still cool tho

The Visitors by ABBA
May 01 2026

it’s abba, so not something i haven’t heard before. it’s decent pop music

Live At The Regal by B.B. King
May 04 2026

a good time all around ,, so playfully smooth

Songs From The Big Chair by Tears For Fears
May 05 2026

this is biased because i already adore this album, but i can’t possible rate it below a 5 :> it’s such a versatile, synthy, energizing album packed with bangers, from soulful vocals to eccentric beats i love you tears for fears

Hypnotised by The Undertones
May 06 2026

pop punk was never the genre that i reach for reflexively. i’ll give credit where credit is due, cause this is a fun poppy record, but i have no particular feelings toward it otherwise

Throwing Muses by Throwing Muses
May 07 2026

this is like siouxsie’s american counterpart; i salute you creepy eccentric ladies 4.5 stars

The Chronic by Dr. Dre
May 11 2026

it has some standouts but i think dre has albums that allow him to show his full potential

Led Zeppelin IV by Led Zeppelin
May 12 2026

decent blues rock but i wasn’t particularly moved..

Miriam Makeba by Miriam Makeba
May 13 2026

her voice is beautiful!! i’m just unsure if her husband is ok

The Soft Bulletin by The Flaming Lips
May 14 2026

this is a blissful psychedelic 4.5 ^_^

John Prine by John Prine
May 15 2026

this is not for me

Crime Of The Century by Supertramp
May 18 2026

“i wanna feel you oh, i wanna touch you please, let me near you, let me near you…”

Van Halen by Van Halen
May 19 2026

some tracks were cool, they probably (most likely) are soundtracks in a movie. otherwise it was fine

Kid A by Radiohead
May 20 2026

this album is truly beautiful in its combination of ambient electronic soundscapes and yorke’s melancholic vocals

In It For The Money by Supergrass
May 21 2026

this album left me feeling unfulfilled in my listening experience. it was alright

After The Gold Rush by Neil Young
May 25 2026

neil’s voice is so soothing and overall contributes to this gentle nature of the album

Doolittle by Pixies
May 26 2026

4.5, it’s a lot of fun

Moss Side Story by Barry Adamson
May 27 2026

haunting, jarring, unnerving, and weird. a great soundtrack album for a movie that doesn’t exist

The College Dropout by Kanye West
May 28 2026

it’s a very nice album and i would rate it higher if i didn’t despise kanye as a person

Blunderbuss by Jack White
Jun 08 2026

i feel like ive heard similar albums to this, ie i can’t think of any standouts here. i feel a bit sad by how underwhelmed i felt listening to this because i thought the album cover was cool

Jun 09 2026

just my luck that i get another kanye album so soon. same as previously said, the production, instrumentals, and features are awesome, i just don’t like the guy himself. in an alternate universe i’d give this a 5 but i cant

Paul Simon by Paul Simon
Jun 10 2026

i just really like it. no notes

Music From Big Pink by The Band
Jun 11 2026

i started out indifferent about this but towards the end it became pretty nice

Crosby, Stills & Nash by Crosby, Stills & Nash
Jun 15 2026

easy to listen to :) this is a good first impression of CSN especially since i’m not well versed in folk music still

Songs In The Key Of Life by Stevie Wonder
Jun 16 2026

it’s so great and multi faceted with its sound; ironically i like isn’t she lovely the least, something about that song doesn’t do it for me. but that’s a nitpick on an otherwise very pleasant feel good album

McCartney by Paul McCartney
Jun 17 2026

i have virtually no prior experience with the Beatles’ members’ music, so i’m coming into this record with no real expectations. honestly it was pretty good, go white boy go!

Dirt by Alice In Chains
Jun 18 2026

i mean it’s great, there’s nothing else to add!

Among The Living by Anthrax
Jun 19 2026

i can hear the punk influences, which i like. a nice addition to my appreciation of most metal music

Endtroducing..... by DJ Shadow
Jun 22 2026

i already really liked this album before learning it appears on 1001 :3 im very tickled by the hypnotic feel of this record ^,^

Murmur by R.E.M.
Jun 23 2026

it’s upbeat and jangly, but just okay overall

Shalimar by Rahul Dev Burman
Jun 24 2026

just very pretty and pleasant and fun to listen to. enjoyed a lot

Jun 25 2026

mbv will always remind me of mike and our friendship, i love you man

Boston by Boston

All Hail the Queen by Queen Latifah
Jul 01 2026

i haven’t heard of her until now, but honestly hell yeah i love the queen!

Walking Wounded by Everything But The Girl
Jul 02 2026

yess give me trip hop give me dreamy floaty music i thrive on it

Songs Of Love And Hate by Leonard Cohen
Jul 03 2026

leonard cohen reminds me of bob dylan except that i actually prefer cohen to dylan, idk. this was nice

Coat Of Many Colors by Dolly Parton
Jul 07 2026

dolly parton’s gentle voice juxtaposes so poignantly against the often sad lyrics portraying her childhood familial struggles. yet some streaks of childhood innocence and joy shine through this recording

Pornography by The Cure
Jul 09 2026

how can i not love this album? it’s brooding, melancholic aura is intoxicating, and mirrors my personal journey through the gothic subculture. i absolutely adore robert’s vocals and the mechanical drums. reading tolhurt’s memoir has undoubtedly helped in solidifying my affection for much of the cure’s work

Remedy by Basement Jaxx
Jul 10 2026

this album is crazy; the sounds found here are so diverse i can genuinely hear its influences in modern electronic artists’ music
