Van Halen by Van Halen
Jun 11 2026

This felt like a spoof for what I would think hard rock would sounds like. Actually quite enjoyed it and didn’t know they wrote you really got me.

Heaven Or Las Vegas by Cocteau Twins
Jun 12 2026

Started out strong cause I love the opening track. Nice cinematic vibes but none of the songs as strong as the first track

The Suburbs by Arcade Fire
Jun 15 2026

Big fan of the titular song. Rest of the album felt quite samey samey but I still enjoyed.

Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye
Jun 16 2026

Opening song is a classic and his voice is so pretty but felt very samey samey throughout

Music in Exile by Songhoy Blues
Jun 17 2026

I liked this! I don’t speak any Songhui so have no clue what they were saying but really liked the persuasiveness of the songs. And whoever sings the bass line has a really has such a nice tone

Bryter Layter by Nick Drake
Jun 18 2026

I feel very indifferently towards this. All the songs sort of blurred into one and I’m sure the words are really lyrical but I couldn’t make out what he was saying

All Mod Cons by The Jam
Jun 19 2026

Liked this a lot, I’m a fan of the Jam but had never listened to this album. Think it deffo got better in the second half. All round a good vibe though

3 Feet High and Rising by De La Soul
Jun 22 2026

This was fun. Some very quirky song topics like one about dandruff and soap. All round a good fun vibe!

Amnesiac by Radiohead
Jun 23 2026

A great album with some absolute bangers like pyramid and Dollars and Cents. But why do Radiohead do such random songs that sounds like they’re just clanging pots and pans together or dropping things on the floor. Always confuses me

The Real Thing by Faith No More
Jun 24 2026

Felt the band Jack Black is a part of when he starts teaching in School of Rock. Sadly did not like the main vocalists voice so put me off. A bit too heavy rock for me. Some weren’t too back, liked the instrumentals in Woodpecker from Mars.

Doggystyle by Snoop Dogg
Jun 25 2026

This was a good vibe, listened into work and put me in a great mood stomping in the sunshine. Also re-listened at the gym and was good for a workout

Siembra by Willie Colón & Rubén Blades
Jun 26 2026

What a vibe, thank god it was a sunny day cause I don’t really think you could listen to this in dark, stormy weather. Made me want to Samba to work. Had to look up who they are - Willie is a famous trombonist and rueben is a famous Puerto Rican singer. Buscando Guayaba made me laugh cause there’s a section where he’s scatting along but it sounds like he’s trying to replicate a guitar. Also did Bad Bunny steal/was inspired by the listing of South American countries cause I reckon Rueben did it first in Plastico.

Purple Rain by Prince
Jun 29 2026

What an album, such a bop. I think I prefer the second half but it’s a hard test cause they’re all so good. Not much more to say really its Prince

Blood On The Tracks by Bob Dylan
Jun 30 2026

I like the music his voice is just so moany its jarring

Can't Buy A Thrill by Steely Dan
Jul 01 2026

Really enjoyed this. I hadn’t heard any of their music before and likes the mix of rock and jazz. I added 1/2 the songs to my liked songs so that says enough.

Grievous Angel by Gram Parsons
Jul 02 2026

I preferred the woman’s voice. It was fine but nothing too special. Sort of sounded like it could be a musical.

Ten by Pearl Jam
Jul 03 2026

very meh, had it on whilst reading and it really just melted into the background

Songs From The Big Chair by Tears For Fears
Jul 06 2026

such a good album, grungy, emotive and cinematic. I like the repetition in most of the lyrics and some of the guitar solos are really fun. Also each song is nice and unique, keeps things interesting throughout. Always a big fan of half the song being purely instrumental and a slow build and I feel The Working Hour and Listen do just that. Everyone wants to rule the world is one of the best songs ever made so this 5/5 was almost inevitable.

Unknown Pleasures by Joy Division
Jul 08 2026

Great album, I love everything joy division does. New dawn never fades is such a banger

Horses by Patti Smith
Jul 10 2026

Big fan of this. Unapologetic in her lyrics and the music is so punky and creative.

The Wildest! by Louis Prima
Jul 13 2026

Very fun! Nice background music for reading
