A nice listen. Great performances, felt maybe a bit over long

It's aight. Whole time listening I was like "eh kinda feels like a worse version of Pavement" not knowing silver jews has two members of Pavement

4.5 Classic but almost quaint by today's standards

The more stripped down country ish cuts don't really do it for me but when there's some orchestration and big musical crescendos, it really soars. Strong 3

I think that Nick is a beautiful song writer.

Maybe at the time it was pushing boundaries or something but this was a very paint by numbers bluesy jazz record.
