Morrison Hotel by The Doors
Aug 05 2026

Definitely a The Doors album lol. They had some good stuff, and I’m glad I listened to it. But I don’t think I need to revisit it? Besides Blue Monday I think!

Pink Moon by Nick Drake
Aug 06 2026

I did really dig this album! I could see myself getting lost in it again, but I still wouldn’t think of it as a favorite. Although, I will admit that I do think that it would grow on me more and more with each listen. I feel like recently this album has been appearing all over the place so it’s cool I finally got to sit down and listen to it

Madman Across The Water by Elton John
Aug 07 2026

It kinda took me a second to warm up to this album, but the second half really solidified it for me. I WOULD listen to these songs again, and possibly this whole album again. I mean, the second half alone made me feel like I needed to revisit the first. So yeah, I'd say a solid four stars. John isn't exactly one of my favorite artists, but I am glad to be more familiar with his work.

The Gershwin Songbook by Ella Fitzgerald
Aug 10 2026

This was, hands down, the longest album I’ve ever listened to. And I didn’t regret a second of it. I LOVE Ella Fitzgerald. This is everytging

Aug 11 2026

I really enjoyed finally listening to this!! This has been on my “must listen” list for a while and I was not disappointed

Marquee Moon by Television
Aug 12 2026

It was okay. It picked up more for me towards the end, but I don’t think it’s an album I think I’d run to relisten to, you know?

With The Beatles by Beatles
Aug 13 2026

I mean it’s a classic album. I think I’d probably think three stars, but since this album had “Till There Was You” that changes things lol

Ten by Pearl Jam
Aug 14 2026

I loved it. I love the sound, and it lowk made me want to relisten to Chris Cornell’s stuff again. I’d def give this a relisten, in total album form or not

Aug 17 2026

Okay. Damn. I didn’t think I’d like this album as much as I did, but there were tunes I was definitely grooving too and songs I’d like to listen to more in-depth. Also, points for this album NOT having “Sweet Home Alabama” lol

Led Zeppelin II by Led Zeppelin
Aug 18 2026

God I just love Led Zeppelin. Do I need to say anything else?

Murder Ballads by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Aug 19 2026

Oh my god. I REALLY loved this album. It feels right up my alley! I’ll give this 4.5 stars, O’Malley’s Bar kinda took me out of the experience. Why is that song 14 minutes and so repetitive?? I was listening to this song and multiple times thought it was just on repeat, that song should NOT be that long it’s not even a fave of mine on the album I think because of how repetitive it is. 4.5 stars!

Aug 20 2026

Oh my god. How have I never heard of them before?? This is why I love this challenge for myself - I learn about artists and albums I’ve never even heard of that just stick with me. This definitely calls for a relisten. 4.5, but I’ll say 5 here

Kenza by Khaled
Aug 21 2026

I really liked this album! I can’t believe I never heard of Khaled before this, but I’m glad this project put him on my radar!

Aug 24 2026

It was okay, I think the album gets a bump up because it made me appreciate the Scientist again, but otherwise, not something that really stood out to me

Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Aug 25 2026

I mean, they’re a classic band. I feel glad I got to listen to a full album of theirs, something I’ve been meaning to do for a while

Fun House by The Stooges
Aug 26 2026

Interesting album, but definitely not one I need to hear again. It was a good album to have in the background while I was playing Neon White, but I wouldn’t listen to it on my own

Trio by Dolly Parton
Aug 27 2026

I don’t think this needs any explanation. I don’t know if it was still randomly generated or not, but the fact that this album came up the day after Dolly died made me just about bawl

Scott 2 by Scott Walker
Aug 28 2026

There were some songs I really loved from this album, but I know this isn’t an album I’d fully revisit. I know there are songs I’d listen to again, but when I really thought of it, I couldn’t justify the album enough personally for me to listen through it again. But still, great fun! Opening with “Jackie” took me by surprise while doing the dishes lol.

The Yes Album by Yes
Aug 31 2026

I REALLY dug this album. I feel like I need to do more looking into the guitar parts and how talented Steve Howe is. Really great! 4.5

Channel Orange by Frank Ocean
Sep 01 2026

AMAZING. I’m glad I got to listen to his album through because I’ve heard songs of his individually and have been wanting to check him out more. God it was fantastic. 4.8

Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs by Derek & The Dominos
Sep 02 2026

Maybe it’s because I lowk hate Eric Clapton even if he is a really good guitarist but I’m sorry I just couldn’t get into this album. I mean like I do like the songs individually for the most part, and there are classics in there, but lord, I know I’d never listen to this album again. It kinda felt like pulling teeth to listen to it because it felt all too similar (for the most part). Two stars because while this is harsh, I’m sure listening to songs apart from one another would raise the ranking. But as a whole album? No thank you.

Fever To Tell by Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Sep 03 2026

This album was alright, I’d listen to these songs stand alone probably, but I’m glad to listen to their music more!
