This is not my usual taste in music, but this albums somehow lets out my inner cowboy because it captures the spirit of independence and individuality. It also sounds so folky but not blue folky, more like yellow. I've never really listened to Bob's music before, so I'm not really familiar to his music but this album sounds so personal, like a reflection of the past, especially evident in the song "It's alright, Ma (I'm only bleeding)."
I've listened to this album many times before, and dare I say, this will always be my JAM! and it's still one of my favorite albums. So beautifully raw and rebellious. The essence of this album is like bleeding. Guitars screech and scrape, drums crack like gunshots, and Kurt's vocals are often distorted. But then there's "Heart-shaped box", "Dumb" and "All apologies" that's more radio-friendly. This album isn't as popular as Nevermind, but it's equally good. I'm glad Nirvana focused on artistic integrity with this over radio hits after such a huge success with Nevermind.
This is the sound of jiving. Never knew I'd be listening to the live album version. I've listened to some of the songs before and it's so different than the studio. Studio albums never fully captured the the soul of Sam Cooke's sound. This live album is a recording of that sound, such a legendary event. It feels like an act of communal celebration, and it reminds me the power of music to make us feel alive. The sense of shared joy that makes me want to dance, and just be grateful for the experience of experiencing life.
This album sounds like its unleashing a beast, hence the name. Contrary to the sound, when you really listen to the the lyrics, it doesn't talk about worshipping the devil, instead it talks about nightmares, psychological torment, and storytelling. It's dark, heavy, and wild, but it's so polished to the point that it kinda makes the sound repetitive or uniform. While each song might not work as well on its own, together they form a spectacular and cohesive whole.

This album reminds me of Bowie.
This album is so hauntingly beautiful. It makes me want to fall in love, even though I know it might hurt me. But even if it did, I would never resent loving someone for that love is something I gave willingly. Something uniquely mine, and I would never trade that for anything. As long as I love, I live.
This album is an absolute gem.

This is the kind of album you listen to when you're alone in a room with whiskey in hand, and the fireplace is the only source of light, while you're reminiscing your past.
Rest in Peace, Dolly. You'll be greatly missed and thank you so much for the music.
I've never heard quite anything like this before, but I really like it. The instrumentals are so enchanting and magical.
The moment I heard a similar sound to Bowie, I immediately considered this album as peak.
Jazz musicians are on different level, and this album is so good but I would have love it more if there was no audience in the background. I just want to feel like I'm alone with the band, and bask in the genius of their sound, so the crowd here feels like an intrusion.
David Bowie, my starman. My soul is weeping because I really miss this man and this album is such a masterpiece. The Next Day is the sound of that star still burning bright, but we know the light was already starting to fade.
This album is deeply poetic. It made me reflect on my entire life and the choices I've made that got me here.
