Hold me closer tiny dancerrrrr. A very passionate album yet Elton John’s cadence is phenomenal and calming. 10/10 classic. Some songs are long but I’ll allow it since they’re not repetitive or chorus-heavy

Listening to the intro with two headphones in and noise cancelling on felt like I was being kidnapped and subjected to government torture. Not sure what the goal is here but it sounds like a retarded 5 year old is smashing their fists on an electric keyboard. Could maybe pass for a soundtrack for an ocean’s eleven remake if it was the special Olympics version. Of course people from the UK would enjoy this. End of the album started to be listenable so that saves it from being a 1/5

Gives me some type of southern nostalgia that I shouldn’t be getting being born in 2003. Makes me feel like I just got done losing the civil war. If he had a bluegrass band playing with him this has 5 star potential.

Much more funk/pop than I was expecting from a Prince album, but makes sense considering it was made in the early albums. Definitely some good tracks but not super imaginative and would’ve liked to hear more guitar. If I wanted to listen to 8 minute long songs I’d just queue up free bird 10 times in a row

Very simple yet wonderful. I have a soft spot for this era of music and movies because I wish I grew up in this time (for everything except the racism). Has an objective and theme and doesn’t deviate from it throughout the entire album. No random keyboard nonsense and 8 minute drag-on songs. Efficient art that does its job, just what I enjoy.

Classic West Coast Hip-hop. Every song was unique and the interludes were perfection. Cant believe I’ve never heard of Jurassic 5.

Absolute slop. Anyone who enjoys this please go fuck yourself. This is what ai would create if I told it to make synth music

Pretty basic. Good genre. Certainly nothing to write home about

Definitely TV ad music. “Time to pretend” playing over top of a $2500 iPhone that no one can afford just makes sense. The story behind these two guys is cool tho and the music is interesting and catchy so I’ll allow it.

Great album. This is metal before it became weird and scary. I can see the influences on nirvana for sure

Certainly a powerful album historically speaking. Considering it was around the time of Rodney King the anger and passion in this album is justified. Still not sure why ice cube decided to pursue a solo career but you win some you lose some

Great album. I honestly can’t believe this was made in the 60s.

Anyone who considers this revolutionary is a millennial egomaniac who just looks to go against the grain. It’s not bad music, but the people jerking themselves over this album is the equivalent of those artists who just splatter paint on the wall and then after the fact try to look for deep meaning. In reality I think it’s these people overcompensating for not being able to have an original thought and also trying to lie to themselves that they didn’t just waste an hour listening to this. Anyone with a brain isn’t searching for a reason to give this a 5/5 and is just sticking it with a 3/5 and moving onto tomorrow hoping it’s normal music

Saw 22k monthly listeners and assumed the worst but it actually wasn’t that bad. They’re from San Diego so that must mean they’re super chill. Decent album

A lot more sad and emotional than I was expecting. Certainly the right vibe for waking up at 3am for the third day in a row to go to a fucking grocery store. Songs were quick and packed with story. Great album

Petition to never hear another Radiohead album

This album makes me feel like I just died in 1914 and caused the beginning of World War I. Just kidding. This is exactly who Radiohead wishes they were. Indie and experimental all while throwing in a hit single on top of it. Fuck yeah.

I really had high expectations because I’m a big fan of queen. But this kinda missed the mark. It wasn’t bad, it just lacked uniqueness and was far too long. I guess I expected to hear more different sounds but throughout the middle of the album I got kinda lulled to sleep. I really wanted to love this ELO album

Living in Philly for 5 years, I actively avoided Bruce Springsteen as to not adhere to the cult following. However, after finally listening to Springsteen that isn’t one of his big hits, I can confidently say it makes sense why he is a New Jersey/Philly suburbs folk hero. These fucking people have no taste whatsoever, and could quite literally be the stupidest motherfuckers I’ve ever surrounded myself with. His lack of talent is so distracting that I couldn’t even properly listen to the lyrics or music. New Jersey can keep this guy as long as he stays far far away from me. Was gonna give it a 2 but my hatred for New Jersey knocks it to a 1. Fuck all the way off

Dire Straits offers so many unique sounds. Nowhere else can you hear Walk of Life with heavy synthesizer flow straight into a saxophone solo. Absolutely gushing with talent.

I’m sure this absolutely fucked in 200. However, I think it aged quite poorly and just isn’t my kind of music tbh. The hits are fine though

This would be great music to hear live, don’t get me wrong. I just think it loses its luster playing for an hour in my airpods for an hour. Not a ton of unique sounds, but I can appreciate the music

1969, what a time to be alive. The Brits before 1980 and the Brits after 1980 might as well be a different race of people. Heartbreaker, Living Loving Maid, and Ramble On back to back to back made me ascend. Great album

Genre: not particularly good. Voice: Not particularly good. To me this sounds like if Madonna and friends tried to write Shrek: The Musical. The other problem is I can envision the exact type of person that would like this. This is the type of shit Taylor Swift is gonna make once she enters her 50s and 60s
