Popular Reviews

Oh the early 2000s. What a time to be alive. Every single song from coldplay is a movie soundtrack and hits you different depending on where you are in life. It's only a 4/5 though cause sometimes they sing a little flat and it irks me

Ill Communication by Beastie Boys
Sep 16 2026

Something I would have never found on my own. But such a unique sound that had me headbangin all the way

Live And Dangerous by Thin Lizzy
Sep 18 2026

This is automatically in my top 5 albums! How did I forget my love for 70s and 80s music?? The Boys are Back in Town is literally my childhood watching A Knights Tale on DVD for Friday night movie night. This is literally the perfect album to throw on for a Sunday morning cleaning sesh

Station To Station by David Bowie
Sep 22 2026

David bowie can do no wrong! this is the album with golden years on it which is my childhood as well

The Sounds Of India by Ravi Shankar
Sep 23 2026

Learning and instrumental background music to put me in a work flow?! more likely than you think

Synchronicity by The Police
Sep 24 2026

It's no wonder the Police made this list they're iconic! Bring back when albums are created to tell a story with the songs and their order. This may have been a mini fever dream at points but it's great

Unhalfbricking by Fairport Convention
Sep 25 2026

fun lil folksy vibe. it's got the sauce too which makes me want to look up more of their work!

Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Sep 30 2026

Absolute classic

Eagles by Eagles

The Score by Fugees
Oct 05 2026

I never would've picked this up on my own but i'm so glad it's included. It's a masterclass in constructing an album which is a lost art now. each song flows into the next seamlessly. The atmosphere is set perfectly with the droning notes in the background. I'm lowkey obsessed with the harmonies in ready or not.

Odelay by Beck
Oct 06 2026

Discordant and chaotic. I get why people might like it but definitely not for me

Joan Armatrading by Joan Armatrading
Oct 08 2026

The notes of peak 70s funk are delightful. Not a one of these songs was a miss.

Kimono My House by Sparks
Oct 09 2026

This is a fever dream that I could only listen to maybe once a year. It's insane but in a good way

Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Oct 12 2026

Neil Young is a fucking ICON. You want a chill album to put on in the background? No sweat. It doesn't matter if you're doing Saturday morning cleaning, a cross country road trip, or you need the perfect playlist to commit a heist to. Anything Neil Young touches is fucking gold.

Hail To the Thief by Radiohead
Oct 13 2026

Always heard of radiohead but never actually listened! The range in this album alone is fantastic and definitely wants to make me listen to more!

Gold by Ryan Adams
Oct 14 2026

How have I never heard of this mans before?! This makes me want to take my shoes off by a lake and sit in an Adirondack chair sipping an ice cold beer to enjoy the sunset. Goddamn

Cafe Bleu by The Style Council
Oct 15 2026

how did you know i love chaotic jazz to plan a heist to?

Oct 16 2026

You can hear in every song how much this band has influenced modern artists today. The kinks are foundational to any flavor of rock and for good reason!

Time Out Of Mind by Bob Dylan
Oct 22 2026

I understand that Bob Dylan is a classic and he may have even changed the face of white boy music and who can pass for a singer, but you do not have to listen to him. He is in every gas station, every cracker barrel, every movie background where the road gets vaguely dusty. And listening to him now, in this world that has felt the affects of Bob Dylan in music, feels like it's been overplayed since every other artist sounds a little like him. I could just listen to Jack Johnson and at least he doesn't sound like hes gargling nails.

Oct 29 2026

Ugh how dare someone do the exact weird cinematic atmospheric melodic music that my little adhd brain loves. Mixing pop, blues, rock, orchestral pieces and a sprinkle of gospel is my brand of weird. I didn't think I would enjoy this but damnnit i did

Oct 30 2026

I was afraid of the early 2000s album cover threatening to suck me back into a room with furry wallpaper and inflatable furniture and honestly this is what the album does. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? You decide
