Brazilian rock, blues rock, pop rock, hard rock. Un 4 por lo exótico, venga.

Some cool Brazilian blues rock

1980s Latin Rock is always a hell yea from me

Rating: 7/10 Best songs: Narciso, Mairo Abandonado, Dolorosa

The sound feels like pretty straightforward rock and roll of its era. A little dated but solid enough to hold up to a 21st century listen. Can't speak the language of the lyrics. The vocal style got pretty old for me at length and the signing was good enough for rock-n-roll but not great.

I enjoyed this! I appreciate blues but I’m not the biggest fan. Barão Vermelho does the blues well. Several times my attention was drawn to the wailing guitar, especially during solos. Blues songs traditionally are more downbeat, and in contrast Maior Abandonado was considerably more peppy and catchy, even if I don’t know Portuguese (Brasíl or Portugal).

Me gustó. y qué bueno que hasta el momento las sugerencias de los usuarios expanden los horizontes a otros géneros y continentes

Fun to hear the Brazilian take on Huey Lewis, especially given the instrumentals have aged pretty well and don’t sound dated. Not a mind-blowing LP, but a solid listen nonetheless. Always happy for more international picks on the list.

Sounds a bit dated like much of the rock from this era, but it's very good. 3 stars.

Enjoyable listen.

Cool mix of genres and sounds

This is perfectly acceptable music that is absolutely adequate in its mediocrity.

This is 80s bluesy pop rock, but through a Latin lens. I couldn't understand the lyrics so I was mostly focused on the music; I found most of the melodies to be forgettable, though. That said, I still appreciate the submission. I'll take any opportunity to check out music from other countries.

This didn’t really wow me or anything… there’s a lot of other music from Brazil I think would suit this list more.
