Really great rock album. I particularly enjoyed the production; a lot of thought went in to getting heavy guitar tones and earth-shaking drum sounds. Will listen again.

Complete surprise. Wonderful lyricism, cover-art, and musicality. I expect for this album to make it into my routine listening.
already heard it
My favorite album of the 2010’s. My favorite qotsa album. My first 5 star on this thing.
Might be my favorite now. Need to listen a few times to see.
Honestly is just below a 5, but a 5 is closer to just below 5 than 4 is, so gotta give credit where it’s due.
Definitely a grower. Not my favourite album when I first heard, was expecting bombastic anthems like Songs for the Deaf. However, Josh Hommes voice is amazing, the vocals varying wildly at times creating different moods depending on the song. Will take a few listenings to really get, but another good album by one of my favourite bands.
Not my usual thing, but pretty damn creative and compelling to listen to.
I enjoyed this right from the start and have added Queens Of The Stone Age to my saved artists on Tidal. It didn't blow me away but definitely worth a 4.0/5.
Great album, but I knew that! I had already listened to it and is what got me into listening to Queen of the Stone Age.
- Rock on - Fun/short album
My first time listening to this band, and for sure will be a repeat listener. Great album, probably my second favorite so far!
Bests songs: I sat by the ocean, If I had a tail fuzzy guitars bluesy stoner stuff wrong notes (TM) 7/10
Keep your eyes peeled - a good time.... I sat by the Ocean - Song in my HBO tv show featuring me type of feel..dancing in the ocean The Vampire of Time and Me - MY TIME OF MUSICCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC
good. not as good as their earlier albums though...
Not my favorite type of rock but they’re are good
big fan
This album grabbed me on first listen. Definitely an album I will listen to again. Probably a four star album once I've learned a few of the tracks and possibly a five star if they are all really good tracks.
Good rocky thing, a few hits already known
Rock tipo Muse
I’m hot and cold on QOTSA but this is a strong collection of songs, they sound confident and seductive and they always know how to sequence albums in a way that takes you on a journey
The dynamism is welcome, as are the dirtier parts, which on first listen are the obvious high points. A dark album, for sure, in every way. I'm no QOTSA fan, but I appreciate their constant forward motion. Strikes a nice balance with the heaviness.
OK
Decent offering no where near as good as songs for the dead though
Muutama kova leka ja viime aikaisten paskojen ansiosta jopa ihan hyvä levy
It was underwhelming to say the least. The last 2 tracks were the best - a very good vocal performance from Homme on the title track. Overall not their best work
It's funny, for how much I love "I Sat By the Ocean" and "My God is the Sun" I'd only listened to this in full the one time before. It's good!
3.5 good album. no bad songs. not really any great songs
Not too shabby. Very unique sound, lots of fun stuff happening. Still unsure of wtf any of the songs are about. Finding out truly how musically retarded I am. That said, one of my favorites so far
Good alternate rock, maybe a bit too hard for me
overall great combination of artists. awesome but nothing new. easy going alt rock. slightly underwhelming. second half was the best. some of it works...some of it is just boring.
Pretty cool. I already tried to give this album a listen a few years ago but something about it just doesn't hook me
The opening track set a precedent that the rest of the album couldn't follow. Overall, a bit clichéd and overproduced. 6/10
Overall not bad. Got closer to repetition towards the end. Seems like montage music that would be used during a main characters downfall before a climax. Also something dad would listen to more.
I think this is the weakest QOTSA album and not entirely sure why it’s on this list?
Super bland and sterile. I miss the old punchy Queens Of The Stone Age!
Some good tracks and a good sound. Honestly not my most favorite thing in the world.
wasn't great...
I didn't really enjoy it. The only song I liked was Kalopsia.
