It was okay. Classic Motown sound with a modern twist. I wouldn’t go out of my way to listen to this album again.

I thoroughly enjoy this album by Sonic Youth. I would say it is rather Goo-d!

A good album all around.

I enjoyed the album. Only ever really hearing “Brown Eyed Girl” this was definitely a different sound, but the sound of the time for sure. The first song “And it Stoned Me” remind me a lot of The Band’s “The Weight.” Definitely open to checking out more of his music in depth after hearing this album.

This album is a classic and definitely deserves it’s spot on the list.

The album reminded me of instrumental music you would hear in a restaurant. This is not to say I didn’t enjoy it but it was too long clocking in at just under 90 minutes. I really need to read the book to see why this made the list.

Aside from the tracks that I was familiar with, the album as a whole wasn’t too bad. I had built up this huge stigma for years with Oasis, and I am not sure why.
