Faust IV
FaustLong and weird, but it was a good listen.
Long and weird, but it was a good listen.
Always amazing.
One of my favorite Beatles albums. Couple of odd ones, but the rest make up for it.
Straight jams back to back.
Great! Chill album
Good 60's jangle. Interesting to hear the beginning of that jangly sound.
Old 50’s 60’s music. Important listen but doubt I’d come back.
I liked the first half. The second half, I began to feel fatigue.
Slowwwww. But could be worse.
Always amazing.
Kinda smithsy, but longer and less catchy
Long songs toward the end, but I like Chicago. Also sick guitar tones for solos.
Better than the first one. Still kinda boring :/
Really cool! I loved the leads. Would listen again
Smiths and XTC. Cool stuff
Interesting calm folk music. Didn’t particularly bop tho.
Almost decemberists sounding. Pretty cool!
Pretty good, but a little dry compared to other Bob Marley.
It was nice! Short and sweet. Almost Lord of the Ringsish.
Long and weird, but it was a good listen.
Always great. One of my favorites
Groovy. Cool soul vibes.
Great melodies! Still iffy on Costello’s voice though.
Great listen! Loved Pyramids.
Fun album! Love the Celtic Punk.
Weeeeeeeird album. Velvet Underground but weirder.
Always a great listen.
Good jazz, not so bad. Coulda used more guitar.
Fun, but a lil too poppy.
Pretty good! Enjoyable. A song came on from the Fragile album that I preferred to anything on this album though.
Always great to listen to.
Slower than I expected, but not bad
Didn’t pay most attention, but sounded fun.
Fantastic
Odd. Not my favorite.
Cool listen. Sounded a bit one hit wonder.
Classic prog rock. Lotta flutes. Fun stuff.
Made me feel like a high school freshman again. Still good music though
I liked it more toward the end. I was shocked by the heavy metal song.
More fun in the beginning than the end.
Cool vibes, but nothing memorable.
alright
Fun group rap. Was kinda the same thing throughout the album.
Good album. Couple borin ones.
Never my favorite, but not bad
Not bad, but not my thing.
Fun punk
Great album!
Chill and I liked all the places it went.
Fun stuff
I actually really enjoyed this one. Hummer is a cool song.
One of my favorite Beatles albums. Couple of odd ones, but the rest make up for it.
A little cheesy, but really good melodies!
80’s stuff. Kinda boring
Straight jams back to back.
Really cool highs. Kinda boring lows. Overall, I’ll be listening again.
Fun stuff. Cool perspective.
Good straight blues.
It was ok, a little noisy in some areas.
It aight.
Fun
Was shocked over how much I liked this one.
Eh. His voice was most iffy. Some jams toward the end tho.
I’ve never liked most of Frank Sinatra’s songs.
More fun than I remembered.
I liked it
Lil too raw
good.
Really cool 80's punk!
I liked it a lot!
I thought some songs were fun but as a collective, I wasn't super impressed. It's cool how there were parts of it that strayed from the more country rock stuff into more RnB.
Trying to forget what Kanye has been up to lately, this album is a perfect hip hop album. It feels almost like progressive hip-hop, or like a rock album with rappers on it. The deliberate production choices all added to it, like the decision to slightly saturate the whole thing.
This albums was a pleasant surprise. Lots of catchy songs with grand orchestras behind it. The last song on the album ‘I’m All You Need’ was one of my favorite songs I’ve heard in awhile.
Very pretty album. I love the orchestral arrangements. I feel like the production added a lot.
I thought it was really good. The instrumentation was beautiful. The songs are well written. I gave it a second listen after. The short length plays to its advantage.
I’d probably rate it higher if I gave it more time. I like a lot of what it is trying to do, but there isn’t a CRAZY amount that stood out to me aside from the hits. I did like Christmas though.
Rawk and Roll! I have nostalgic memories of me and my buddies jamming on "How Many More Times?" It is not a five because it isn't my favorite Led Zeppelin record, but it is up there!
I thought this album was a lot of fun. Great guitars. Janis is a great singer. Nothing is particular stood out to me, but I had a good time listening to it. Maybe if anything, I liked My Baby. I also thought Mercedes Benz was a fun track to throw in. 3.5/5
Fun glam punk! There were some songs on here that I really thought were fun and catchy. I really liked the opening track in particular, ‘The Age of Pamparius’. 3.5/5
Good! I thought it was a bit front-loaded, but the energy was consistent throughout.
The vocal production felt weird to me at first, but once I got used to it, this was a pretty good listen. I especially liked the song ‘Black Boys on Mopeds’. Super powerful and a really good performance. However, there just wasn’t enough else that stuck out to me.
Love David Bowie. This was a cool album but not one of my favorites. It’s always fun to listen to Bowie get more creative and aim less for radio hits, but you definitely lose a little bit of memorability in the process.
