1001 Albums Summary

Electronic, synth pop. Mellow and chill with a few songs that build up rather nicely. Mostly instrumental but some great vocals as well. Great Sunday afternoon music. 2.5/5

Not bad but sounded like pretty generic Brit pop to me. Made me realize I didn’t rate Air high enough.

Love his story of protesting the Nigerian government. Calling the soldiers “zombies” although he paid for it his music can’t be hushed. Not really my stay but the jazzy,funk,world music is full of talent.

Acoustic folk, not bad!

Good classic rock album, some catchy songs and good riffs.

Definitely original, liked the first few songs than got a little weird.

Great album! After the second listen it really grew on me. What a great songwriter and guitarist/singer.

Would be very good high I’m positive. Sober it’s good and some great sounds, a bit experimental/psychedelic for sure.

Starts off great with a few bangers and the end of the album is decent but there’s a few songs in the middle that really suck.

Some good songs but obvious pre fab punk for shock value.

It was ok but didn’t really impress me. Sounded like mid 90’s pop rock trying to be rock.

Lotta instrumental prog rock, sounds ahead of it’s time but doesn’t really do it for me.

Must have got this album mixed up with the 1001 worst albums of all time! Absolutely awful.

I liked this album, pretty raw and unique.

Didn’t have enough time to listen as thoroughly as I’d like but I did like what I heard. Nice mix of Brit pop/alternative

Enjoyed it from the first song. Fun, happy album.

Really liked this album! Was different for sure with its industrial/rock/alternative vibe but kept listening to it and didn’t get sick of it at all.

Surprised I haven’t heard of them before. Early punk. Can definitely see how much of an influence they had on later bands like the cramps.
