With The Beatles
BeatlesNice to hear some original Beatles - mixed with some covers 👍🏻
Nice to hear some original Beatles - mixed with some covers 👍🏻
Forgot how much I loved the songs on this album - reminder of the 90’s and whilst at Uni
This was a tough album to endure - I listened to the first 3 ‘songs’ and stopped listening to the album generator for 2 months! I gave it another go today and realised it’s not for me - too many issues to start I haven’t got the energy……..
Nice to listen to at work - 80’s rock 👍🏻
One all time favourite - tunes start to finish !
Excellent tunes - great for the working day will listen to some more of their tunes 🤩
Great starter album - always thought this was Ian drury!
Nice throw back to the big hair era - some real well known tunes on there and some lesser favourites
Promise to try - quite a poignant and somber song amongst the woodland of the other up beat pop songs Revelation never heard love song with Prince Some good well known singles and lesser if you’re not a fan
Chain saw was a bit jarring 🙃 Good to hear the rest of the album…
Gentle bimble through the bluegrass never heard this before
So many songs I love in this album and inadvertently listening to them for years on chill out albums before I knew who they were !
Familiar voices sonic delight
Love this album and happy that i had further recommendations of 60’s music that had that feel good factor 👍🏻
Good to listen back to the whole album again as was a staple of the key songs when our originally. Good to hear some contemporary influences from such songs as territorial pissings on such bands as Idles. Forgot how that and lounge acts were on point songs without the air play 🤘🏻
Typical sound of the 90’s Ok background music enjoyed shadowboxer
Bought this on tape when it first came out - forgot how long the album is. On reflection some nice random slow tunes thrown in there sandwiched in between the well known ones
Great to hear the whole album Some tunes sound very Bob dylan esc.
Forgot how much I loved his voice will defo listen to some more - and great to recognise from the music of dirty dancing - never knew that was him !
Fabulous on a sunny afternoon - that 9 minute song in the middle was a surprise and slightly creepy with the kid on !
Pure delight - love this album - classic
Didn’t really listen to these guys first time round, but loving the album. I like linkin park and some of the vibes are similar - particularly liked ‘surfacing’ a great one when working 😂 me inside and eyeless are another couple I liked
Lovely to hear some song so hadn’t heard before and some songs back to basics - not the crowd pleasers. Good to hear other voices on the recordings
One of my favourite albums of all time - and always a pleasure to hear it especially on a chilled Sunday or sunny morning 🔆
Clunky assault on my brain Murmurs of Tom waits influenced tunes, of key trumpets and scratchy electronics Don’t listen with a headache or operating heavy machinery
Gave it a go but couldn’t finish the album - some homage to Kate bush but overall found it winey. Not sure which genre - a bit show jazz, easy listening, I’m not sure - some dodgy lyrics had to give up sorry 😞
Beautiful antidote for the last offering! Lovely bimble in the sunshine 🌞
Nice to hear some original Beatles - mixed with some covers 👍🏻
Nice to hear some raw rock morrisey
Listened to the remastered 2009 version - some things seemed a little over produced so some sound took over the vocals
Lots of repetition (band on the run) - some good tunes
Something a bit different - I like it
Beautiful especially lilac wine
Haven’t listened to this in years - great revisit
So many I knew didn’t realise were on this album
Great morning album especially the 18minute ending tune
Classics and some lesser known surprises
Intrigued as I saw some of Little Simz at Glastonbury - not my usual go to of music but enjoyed selfish and venom - good to see
Some classics in there and a hand hold through the journey to being a single artist
Loved it
Love credence and even better to listen to sitting by a pool 🔆
I listened to the live record version Some vocalisations were a bit piercing-something to listen to in the background at Christmas
Love this - didn’t realise how much I did until re listening to it - warm fuzzy lovin it
Such a classic - remembering when I was younger me and my family would dance to ‘we are family’ how things change
Loved this - country but not winey- something my grandparents would have listened to and love that nostalgia vibe - sounds familiar although I’d never heard it before
Tokyo is a masterpiece Jameels space ride sounds straight out of the 70’s but contemporary at the same time
Your latest trick - big jump from the poppy well known walk of life - more like a hazy jazz bar when quiet or lift music Some poppy well known tunes then random jazz bar late night cofffe shop fodder
This is an excellent album, so much so that I listened to the whole back catalogue of Nick Drake and researched a bit more about his life. Tragic that he died only at 26, but leaving a legacy of his beautiful voice and compositions which remain timeless.
Classic Also forgot he did a cover of ‘across the universe’ by the beatles - noice
Nice background music then defaulted into bully Bragg on YouTube
Forgot how much I loved the songs on this album - reminder of the 90’s and whilst at Uni
First time listening to this band - liked it nice clear vocals but billy bragg meets pop - more please
What’s not to love about this one. Sounds close to black star but given the times of their release not surprised. Great tunes all could have been on his final album. Where are we now is one of my all time favourite Bowie tunes. Just wish I had got to see him perform.
Killer Queen a classic probably the only stand out tune on this album for me
Blast back from the 90’s forgot how much I loved these guys at the time. Ball lightening very foo fighters - on a rope -classic!
I love the music as an instrumental album - but find the lyrics too sickly and insincere.
Classic - hold on
Classics known but not heard the full album -
Chipper background music to work to
Long album - few classics in there thought it would have a bit more of a live feel - good to hear bobs voice before the crackles started to show
Expected sadness from the smiths/morrisey- many songs I knew but didn’t recognise from this album. Poignant has was my to listen album when we heard the Queen had died - so bravo random albums generator!
Classic nice bit of f&@k it when working
Enjoyed this more than any other of their future albums
This was a tough album to endure - I listened to the first 3 ‘songs’ and stopped listening to the album generator for 2 months! I gave it another go today and realised it’s not for me - too many issues to start I haven’t got the energy……..
Classic when Bobs voice was at its bests - tangled in blue always a jam night favourite
No life is too short - got to song 2 on the album and gave up
Forgot how much I loved the tunes on this album - sending me back on a chilled 90’s vibe. Beautiful to remember the influence women had on this era of music - which has often been overshadowed. Effortless homage striking of the mid 90’s. Sexy chilled 90’s vibe thanks for the reminder.
