I loved this, the entire album mixes punk with jazz and blues, with a very heavy and special guitar on every song, scoring/marking the beat everytime. Basically i love the guitar on this album.

Cant. Lyrics are basic, drums are the best of the album, maybe “Got the life” its the best track but i wouldnt listen the album again. It is not necessary a lot of noise to play industrial metal

Nice way to debute. I love that you can notice Syd here, its the other side of the band, everyone is showing off. The album has themes where you are being sucked into some pink floyd's planet for almost 10 minutes and im okey with it. It is psychedelic even on its album cover

Marie makes me cry, Randy Newman its a completely interpreter, his background band it helps a lot to become emotional while you listen the album. Some songs are just Toy Story soundtrack and i cant think of anything else.

I wonder if they know what they have done, its too eraly in the 60s to make such a thing. When i discovered this album (just for the popular cover) i searched for more and more, i think this was the beggining of a lot of music and bands that we still listen today. Beautiful Carole king, this is a great album, with so much feeling on You´ve got a friend and an amazing interpretation on You make me feel. I wonder if this was a hit back in the 70s, its so complete, blues, joy, piano ballads and riffs, and a great voice, loved it.

This is the justification of why he is the number one. It seems an album played in one take, where you can hear conversations between the band and people. It has everything it would come after Hendrix. Kravitz, Prince, Clapton, Buckingham, they must be grateful to Hendrix, its all about him

Its an album i would never have found on my own, but i love this type of voices, you can let this sound all afternoon and it wouldnt bother you, its the opposite of noice. Every sound and instrument takes you to a relaxing vibe, and astrud is the first one to take you to that trip.

Rap and r&b history founder. An album to always listen when we think its all lost on music industry.
