The Köln Concert
Keith JarrettI hated this one. The moaning, the extended clapping, the aimless improvisation that felt like it went nowhere for lengthy periods of times. I clearly am not the audience for improvised jazz

Seven Nation Army is one of the best songs ever made. The rest of the album got kind of monotonous to listen to, though.
I really enjoyed this one. The particular highlight for me was Heard it through the Grapevine, but every song was fun and it’ll likely end up in my regular rock rotation.
There are a few tracks here that I liked enough that they may go on my main playlist, and I will probably listen to the full album again periodically, but my overall impression is that this was kind of boring and mostly just mindless background noise.
I love a few songs on this, especially God Only Knows. The songs I didn’t like as much, however, were pretty same-y and uninteresting. I will listen to about half of the album again in the future, but the other half is a skip for me.
I won’t give this 1 star because I think the sampling could be fun and clever at times, but I didn’t like being screamed at for an hour and will never listen to this again.
I don’t think this is quite a 5 star album for me, as a few songs were kind of weak, but I have been humming the rest of the album on repeat since listening. This will definitely be part of my regular rotation.
I enjoyed the songs a lot and Johnny Cash's voice is phenomenal, don't get me wrong, but live albums really aren't my thing. This did make me find out that Shel Silverstein wasn't just a children's poetry author and I kind of wish I could unlearn some of what I found out about him, to be quite honest.
I love half of this album and loathe the other half, so I guess 3 is about right. I don’t think I like the very over the top performances, but the more relaxed songs are beautiful and really showcase the powerhouse vocals.
There’s nothing wrong here, but this is most definitely not my type of music. More than anything else, I was bored.
I had such a fun time with this one! I love this era of music and this had such a great mix of more serious jazz standards and comedic, light tunes.
This is a collaboration of two things I don’t like much: Blues music and live albums. I’m glad I listened to this piece of music history and agree with it being in this list, but I won’t be listening again.

This is why I love this challenge. This was pretty cool, even if it was on the short side. I never would have picked this up independently, and I’m glad I got to give it a try

This is definitely a piece of history and I can hear the influence that this album had on modern music. It’s still not a genre I enjoy, though.
Way too abstract and experimental for my tastes.
This album was so much fun. It’s also nice to be listening to an album and suddenly learn the roots of a viral social media song.
There were a few really good songs on here, but a lot I didn’t really enjoy, too.
I haven’t stopped listening to this album all day. Normally 3 times is my max for an album, but it’s just so fun and I will be listening to this a lot for days to come.
Cool idea, but I wish it had been a studio recording because I really don’t enjoy live albums
Bittersweet Symphony is one of my favorite songs ever, but the rest of the album was just okay. It didn’t vary much from song to song and faded into the background quickly for me.
Even though it may have happened many decades ago, this album is strangely difficult to listen to knowing the tragedy that would occur. It’s truly great music, though, and I understand why it was so influential.
This was fun! I think the music got a little too same-y for my tastes, so I probably won’t reach for the whole album too regularly, but some of the individual songs are really great.
This was a little bit on the dull side, which was surprising to me given Bowie’s reputation, but the big hits are as awesome as expected.
I’m a sucker for some good bluesy rock and this is a lot of fun. Maybe a bit generic, but I’ll definitely be listening again.
There are a few strong tracks here, but I don’t generally like the whole distorted voice rock genre, so it’s a bit of a mixed bag for me.
I’m not sure why, but I liked this one. I won’t listen to the whole thing through again, but I’ll happily add a few tracks to my mindless background noise playlist.
I enjoyed listening to this one, but overall, instrumental jazz is not my genre of choice and I probably won’t revisit it.
I hated this one. The voice was like nails on a chalkboard. Some of the songs physically hurt to listen to and I never want to think about this one again
Absolutely breathtaking. Definitely a new favorite. I can’t stop listening to it.
Some great songs here. I think Led Zeppelin is a band I’m going to need to check out a lot more of.
I wasn’t expecting to enjoy 80s synth music, but it’s unexpectedly catchy.
Given that it isn’t easy to listen to this album, I really had to ask whether I liked it enough to go out of my way to listen to it again. And the answer is no. They’re an interesting enough band, but nothing new for me.
There are some really catchy songs on this one, but full rap albums are not for me.
This is my first time really listening to Rolling Stones and I’m honestly amazed at how much I enjoyed it. Some of these larger than life bands disappoint after a lifetime of hearing about how amazing they are, but I loved this one.
A few good songs here, but a lot that I thoroughly disliked, as well. It just went on and on and on forever with no end.
Janis has quite the unique voice and I’m glad I got the chance to experience it.
3 is the magic number and also the rating of this album. It was fun and I get why people like it so much.
This had a few good moments, but it was mostly just noise with no discernible difference between songs.
I’d never heard of this artist before, but I really like their sound. Definitely going to check out more by them in the future.
This was fun, but nothing particularly memorable overall. I enjoyed the opening song, School, and then everything else went downhill for me after that.
Some wonderful songs here, but nothing I haven’t heard before at this point.
Metal is definitely not for me. This was all just background music with nothing to really keep my interest.
A few okay songs, but mostly forgettable and generic 80s music
I enjoyed this, but also think the music is a bit generic and I’m unlikely to return often.
I’ve been putting listening to this one off because I was worried it wouldn’t be for me, but I’m so glad I was wrong. Definitely a fan of this! The vocals are so powerful and it’s just a lot of fun.
I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this at all, so thinking it was okay is probably a win, all things considered. It reminded me of Fallout New Vegas music, so it was nostalgic for me.
I enjoyed this quite a bit, much more than expected. It’s a little generic for the time period, but it was fun.
I started off thinking I wasn’t going to like this. The lead singer’s voice was grating and I found it very annoying. For reasons I can’t explain, though, this band grew on me as I listened more. Now, I really think I’m going to listen to this one some more.
I always forget that the drummer for The Police composed the Spyro music. Then I listen to The Police and remember immediately.
I actually like some FKA Twigs songs, so I’m disappointed by how much I didn’t enjoy listening to this.
Neil Young was an artist I vaguely knew of, but had never listened to before and therefore didn’t know what to expect. This was such a treat, I’ll definitely be checking out more.
I don’t hate Bon Jovi and had some fun with this album. That said, if they were going to record one single song and copy/paste it 10 times, they could have picked a more interesting song.
I did grow up with my parents listening to Eagles music, so this was surprisingly nostalgic for me. I had a really fun time with this one.
I absolutely love Man in the Mirror and Smooth Criminal. I absolutely cannot stand most of the rest of the album.
I love Peter Gabriel and everything he does, so I’m completely unsurprised that I loved this, too.
This was incredibly dull to the point that I kept forgetting I even had music on because I completely tuned it out. Really bland and generic.
Peter Gabriel is one of the best artist in the pop/rock space and I stand by that opinion.
I love southern rock in general, but Creedence Clearwater Revival is quickly becoming my favorite band in the genre
