I couldn’t find it on Apple Music , so I’m saying no to this first one call me a poser
Dug the hell out of this. Like eagles but groovier, jazzier and funkier.
Simz is goated
this album listening experience sucked - felt like torture lowkey
one of my favorite albums ever. fave Dylan for sure
the best queen album
I liked it , needed some aughts rock yesterday. Alternates between garage rock and beatlesque soft rock, quite fun although I typically don’t go for Australian music
Big boi’s was a fun af listen that I think I will revisit. Andre 3000’s I appreciated more than I liked although there were ofc some bangers on there

Wow i really liked this. The strings were magnificent - I felt as though I were transported to another era, Paris in the 60s, traipsing around the Latin quarter w my bohemian friends discussing the revolution, love, and the modern novel. Classy album, sometimes there would be some weird sounds in the middle of songs that I was not a fan of.
Amazing iconic stellar legendary
This album dragged on for me. I loved the soft shoegaze guitars, but found the vocals quite grating. Not something I would listen to on my own. But there are a couple tracks here and there that rock, like ‘alright’ and ‘game of pricks’. Many of the tracks’ Melodies reminded me of Beatles tunes.
Great folk album.
Really loved this record. Love the electric soundscapes composed to glitches, loops, and shreds. I really felt like this one took me on a journey.
I mean goddamn… I had listened to this album before and thought it was really good, but listening again I realize just how truly epic this thing is. Such an amazing sonic experience. It’s like darkness & pop & melodrama & and searing heights of emotion & cool musical textures.
Some tracks on here that were alright, but mainly was bored by this record. Didn’t dig the mash up of blues rock and tame acid house.
Funky groovy soulful - loved the production on this thing
Did not f w this at all. I like some of the tracks on here like well I wonder, but most of it is just grating instrumentals and annoying vocals from morrisey. Wish this had been another smiths albums.
First time listening to heroes - now possibly my favorite of bowie’s albums. So much to love here, from the glitch-possessed guitar solo in the opening track, that awesome droning melody in the title track, and the ambient dreamscape of the second half. I really really loved this record, what an artist!!!
Gna be listening to this one againx2 for a while after.
Some very cool mix of genres. Running late to work I felt like I was a desperado -
Love the landscapes that this album conjures up, I love that bass that runs through the album like a river. Love how fully realized of an album this is. I didn’t always love the lyrics though.
Can’t believe I hadn’t heard this before! Dug the entire production of the thing, common’s lyricism, and the message of a lot of these tracks.
Not gna rate this one cuz it’s out of my wheelhouse - really not my type of music. Didn’t really fuck with it, but I can see how other blokes might. Big shrug from me - Boring asf
One of my favorite albums ever. Listening to this album yesterday was a good reminder that there’s a reason why dylan is considered the best songwriter ever, and it’s not even close tbh. So many bangers on here; it’s alright ma (“it’s life and life only”), baby blue (“strike another match go start anew”), Maggie’s farm, bob Dylan’s 115th blues, and of course, mr tambourine man (“to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free/ silhouetted by the sea/ circled by the circus sands / with all memory and fate driven deep beneath the waves / let me forget about today until tomorrow” - I mean cmon, that’s some of the most beautiful lyrics I’ve ever heard) & I could go on. Must’ve been crazy to listen to this when it first dropped. I’m not such a fan of gates of Eden, but still a great song admittedly. Still think I like highway 61 revisited or time out of mind more, but this is definitely in top 5 Dylan albums for me.
I loved this album. The discordant guitars really speak to my soul somehow, I love how noisy yet beautiful it is. Fave tracks: the sprawl, Eric’s trip, & candle. These guys rule. Only reason why four stars is because I think it’s a bit long for my taste.
Appreciated some of the psychedelic touches, but mainly a pretty flat album
Although I’m not a fan of this kind of metal with the screaming, harsh voices, it was cool to hear some Brazilian-Caribbean rhythms infused into the metal genre. Also the instrumentals honestly rock
Good god i love Jimi Hendrix. For some reasons didn’t think I liked this album as much as electric ladyland, but damn!!!! This is an absolute classic! So many bangers on here. I love the fuzzy distortion of his guitar and the masterly control he has over it. His lyricism is also wonderful especially on songs like “may this be love” and “the wind cries Mary”. I love the sci fi, jazz/electric blues fusion jimi achieves on this - standout tracks are love or confusion, remember, fire, and i don’t live today. Also, the drumming by Mitch mitchell is so fkn good.
The master
Great songs on here. Really loved when you were mine, the opening track, and ofc girls just wanna
Excellent production and Skepta can really rap - don’t know why I can’t get totally behind grime though
Fuck this shit
A good funky throwback - sex machine really rips
God awful album. I liked gloomy Sunday but the rest was torturous to listen to
I think I like other Wilco albums I’ve heard more than this, but it’s still great
Last song was epic
Just some great riffs - really surprised by how much I liked this record. Rock n roll is so back baby
A lot of cool concepts in this and interesting sounds, but ultimately not for me.
So many goated songs on here - but “when I kissed the teacher” and “happy hawaii” (seriously wtf was that song) keep it from being a 5. But most of these songs are very special, and i really loved the title track, which I hadn’t heard before.
Damn this really is one of the greatest albums of all time. The last recorded Beatles album, where Paul convinced the band to record an album like they did in the old days, with George Martin at the wheel. Culminates in some of the best songs in their whole catalog, assembled in a cohesive and flowing way. My favorites on this are “something”, “oh darling”, and the whole last suite. The only song that I’m kind of skeptical of is Maxwell, but even that is produced very nicely and fits the vibe of the album. Might be my favorite album of theirs. Throwback to when I had a poster of abbey road in hs
Cool album, cool dudes, and I’m very glad I listened to it. But it did feel a little bit like second-rate Stones to me.
Legendary artist, one of my favorites to ever do it. This was the last recorded album of hers before she died, and on the song “Buried Alive in the Blues” there’s no vocal track. My favorites on here include “A woman left lonely” and “get it while you can”. Her rendition of “me and Bobby mcgee” is one of the all time great rock n roll songs.
Pretty great album. Am I becoming a steely Dan fan???
I think this album is pretty good, but not that a lot of the songs are kind of repetitive and boring to me. Lou reed needed John Cale what can I say
Love this album but maybe it’s a bit long imo. Maybe that’s what makes it legendary. Faves: “stuck inside of mobile” & “visions of Johanna”
An extremely epic album. I’m going to have this one on repeat for a while. Fave tracks are “black mountain side” and “I can’t quit you baby”
Wanted to like this but just found it annoying and kind of grating to listen to
Personally this is not music I wanna listen to but I’m really glad I found out about them - they are legends for making this kind of music in ‘78
