I liked this one a lot. The sound was very clear. The guitar parts reminded me of gitkin a bit. Very nice music. No clue what the lyrics are though. Liked the first half more than the second.
Wasn't my thing. I can tell that the rhythm and lyrics are good, but I don't care for them, and the music wasn't interesting in itself. I honestly didn't even finish this one.
Easy listening but not particularly engaging. Sounded like something my mom would listen to but being played from the other room while I do something else. Liked a few songs though and it made nice background music.
I'm not usually a rap person, but the first song on this album seemed unusually promising. A more playful style, a second voice adding interest, and, dare I say, hints of a melody in the background. As the album progressed I tried to stay hopeful, but was quickly driven to insanity by the repeating high-pitched noises in the background of Every. Single. Song. I turned this one off halfway through.
Fun guitar stuff, nice to listen to. I liked crosstown traffic a lot. Revolutionary for it's time, but not for mine.
It was fine. Some nice jazzy bits but nothing particularly engaging.
Felt very 60s. My favorite track was the first, but overall felt like background music to me, nothing really exciting.
I liked this one a lot! Very fun to listen to.
Was nice to listen to some AC/DC. Reminds me of hanging around my dad while he did stuff in the garage.
This was a great album to work to. Not my favorite of the ambient music I've listened to, but a solid 4.5 nonetheless. I really enjoyed this one.
Brings me back. Blowin in the wind was my favorite as a little kid, but listening to it now, I really like masters of war. Good stuff. I enjoy hearing a bob Dylan song every now and then but I can't say listening to a whole album is my thing
It was fine, nice old-fashioned background music. The type of thing I'd hear in a walmart.
Very nice instrumental jazzy stuff. I liked this a lot.
Not my thing, but fine.
Not my thing, but fine.
Not unbearable.
Very nice easy listening. I especially liked "August Day Song"
Quite liked this odd rock/orchestral/ambient situation. Strange in a way that's right up my alley.
It was nice to listen to some David Bowie, he's my mom's favorite. My favorite track on this one was Word on a Wing.
Didn't really care for it.
Not as bad as the last smashing pumpkins I listened to, but I still wanted it to end. Only listened to the first disc. A couple tracks were alright.
Nice
Not bad. Fun to listen to.
I liked this one a lot! first track was my favorite.
I like Mr. tambourine man, but man the rest of this kinda sucks. Either bob Dylan wrote one good song per album and was remembered well for it, or I just don't get it. I'm sure he'd have been a better poet.
Sounds like fooling around in the backyard while my stepdad blasts dated rock albums in the garage, complete with power tools. Noisy and forgettable. The last song was alright, but it's possible i was just glad to be done. I think it'd be a good album to listen to if you needed to stand near a lawnmower for a while.
I don't care for this sort of music much, but it was the least obnoxious hip-hop adjacent thing I've listened to (apart from linkin park, if that counts) this seemed to contain at least a bit of musicality. I didn't turn it off, and that's a win. First half of black steel was quite nice, but the limited amount of lyrics overstayed their welcome. Rest of the album was forgettable and vulgar.
Pleasant to listen to, but it all blurs together. I don't understand the lyrics, so I'm sure I'm missing part of the puzzle. I can't help but think I'd really like this album if the songs were much shorter.
Wow. I don't think I've ever disliked pop music this much. Genuinely unpleasant to listen to. I thought Beyonce was pretty well-liked, but this is just not fun or interesting at all.
A bit disappointing. The only song I'd heard from this was "drive" which I really like. The rest of the album is not very good at all. Oh well.
