Thought it would love this, ending up struggling massively. The first half of this album feels ‘lazy’ for lack of a better word.

Voice is incredible Lyrically, it’s not quite the one. Feels like she pining after someone song after song. Instruments are such a vibe 3/5

Listened to half of it and enjoyed it but it did feel repetitive

Great early metal album, vocals and lyrics leave much to be desired

Surprised by how much I like this. Tonally, all over the place but produced so damn well with loads of catchy songs

I love Blur. Damon is a legend. This is not the one. There are a few great songs (For Tomorrow / Blue Jeans / Miss America) but it just sounds like 4 mid-20 year olds sat in a room trying to write a follow up album and not getting anywhere. They just sound so bored (which given the title of the album, might’ve been clever but it wears thin quickly)

Funky stuff

Absolutely loved it - you can hear the impact it’s had on loads of modern prog artists like Steve Wilson Music for hobbits by hobbits

Amazing voice, songs themselves are a bit bland

Could only get through a the first four songs - just couldn’t get with it

Didn’t like a single song on this

Few good songs but didn’t care for 80% of this

I feel sad.

This sounds like John thought the Beatles were holding him back, but in reality they were just shooting his stupid ideas down
