Popular Reviews

Blood Sugar Sex Magik by Red Hot Chili Peppers

Hell ya! Thought me that cool guys play bass. This album spoke directly to teenage Ben.

Meat Is Murder by The Smiths

This is mixed all wrong. They should have brought the band up, then taken Morrissey's level, brought it down to zero and put him in the trash.

The ArchAndroid by Janelle Monáe
Jan 10 2024

This was new to me. I liked it. Very interesting musician ship and vocal talent.

Daydream Nation by Sonic Youth
Jan 11 2024

Nope. Not a fan of talking and lots of dissonance noise. Some interesting guitar chords though. Skip a few and eventually stopped listening.

From Elvis In Memphis by Elvis Presley
Jan 12 2024

I like me some Elvis, but I probably wouldn't pick this album to play. Fun to listen too. He sure sings about crying a lot.

Blood Sugar Sex Magik by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Jan 14 2024

Hell ya! Thought me that cool guys play bass. This album spoke directly to teenage Ben.

Aja by Steely Dan
Jan 16 2024

The smooth background vocals of Michael McDonald!

Pearl by Janis Joplin
Jan 17 2024

Of course an awesome voice. What really surprised me were the musical arrangements. Timing changes, orchestrated solos. Very fun.

With The Beatles by Beatles
Jan 19 2024

Most of the songs really enforce that they just want to be held. Tightly.

Meat Is Murder by The Smiths
Jan 20 2024

This is mixed all wrong. They should have brought the band up, then taken Morrissey's level, brought it down to zero and put him in the trash.

Jan 21 2024

Don't like the album, but do like the song Kick out the jams (Dad Band will play instead of Gardener of Eden)

Foxbase Alpha by Saint Etienne
Jan 22 2024

I'm trying to build a house, not work in a salon. Silly French salon background music.

Either Or by Elliott Smith
Jan 23 2024

Ya mean, Dad band can make a top 1001 album?!?! This sounds like it was recorded in a dorm room. Wasn't horrible though.

Penance Soiree by The Icarus Line
Jan 25 2024

Kind of like the White Stripes. But I'll take the white stripes.

Live And Dangerous by Thin Lizzy
Jan 27 2024

Could only listen to 4 songs. Would like to hear the rest.

Basket of Light by Pentangle
Jan 29 2024

Some talented stuff and nice voices. Churchy cult vibe was throwing me.

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
Jan 30 2024

I like me some F Mac

Roxy Music by Roxy Music
Jan 31 2024

I wouldn't be surprised if this band has a song I like, but this album didn't really have it. The singer is like a shaking David Byrne.

Graceland by Paul Simon
Feb 01 2024

My first concert! I really like this album, but I'm not adding any to my favs. So I guess that's a 3? But I let the album play twice and sang along. So maybe that's a 4?

Paul Simon by Paul Simon
Feb 03 2024

Traffic by Traffic
Feb 05 2024

Some fun. Some odd. Composition is neat.

Kind of fun. Reminded me of nightmare before Xmas.

Some nice bass lines. Interesting stuff.

Feb 22 2024

If you want a tiki lounge party, here ya go.

Don't Stand Me Down by Dexys Midnight Runners

Songs with talking are blech, and one of these was a rip off of werewolves of London.
