Not as good as TNT. Not bad though

Way better than I thought. Versatile and catchy. Quite unique as well

Quite derivative. Every song sounds the same. Same tempo, same feel, same tone. Different lyrics

Very different

Great album. Slow paced, relaxing. Great when driving

Sounds old school af. Catchy hooks and choruses that sneak up behind you with a small rock and hit you in the head!

The lyrics sound like thoughts from a Horror Movie villains mind. Really disturbing, especially as they are spoken from the artist’s perspective (yes, I’m aware “Slim Shady” is his Alter Ego).

Like a cross between the beetles and the kinks (depending on the song). If you want to listen to something different, listen to this.

My biggest criticism is that it was difficult to understand what he was saying. Given rap is mainly about the “message”, it seems pointless when many don’t understand your words. Not sure if it was the way it was recorded or the way he speaks. Musically it was good in places, others it was boring. It was good to hear his fathers poem on here.

This is so much better than I remembered. Flawlessly performed. Recommend watching on YouTube, there’s a lot of extra details you miss merely listening to the audio.

Some of the tracks sounded like unplanned jam sessions.

This was so hard to listen to. Perhaps I don’t understand this music. It sounds like some guys messing around in the studio making songs on the fly. The odd timing of the drums sounds like “mistakes” as they are played at odd and infrequent times. One song sounded like the singing was recorded without any backing track whatsoever, then simply layered over some music. Maybe it just went over my head

Super repetitive, boring and overrated.

Terrible live playing. The bass speeds up and slows down constantly. Probably fine for people who can’t hear that I guess

This is definitely an acquired taste, I do not have. I’d recommend listening to their album “American Beauty” from 1970 instead.
