Stevie WonderI didn't love it! 😫 Please don't kick me out.
I didn't love it! 😫 Please don't kick me out.
Much better than the other Stevie. Learned a lot about people who sample him!
Good stuff.
Maybe my favorite entire album of all time.
For some reason I just want to be drunk while I listen to this album.
♥️♥️♥️
I know this is really good music. I just don't have an emotional connection to it.
You know what? I love those few songs, but I was really disappointed with the rest of the album! I'm going to get kicked out of our club I'm sure.
Not for me.
The 70's were wild, man.
Some good stuff. But we're just so angry...
I love this album. One of my faves for work background music.
Love. I want to curl up in his voice and take a nap.
I knew I'd love it, but didn't realize how much. I ended up watching it on YouTube and it's just haunting.
I just love music and its beautiful variety.
Good, I just don't have an emotional connection with it.
Too much chaos for me. I can appreciate some elements of it but it just annoys me that it never really comes together.
Their bangers are bangers. Their other stuff, meh.
I don't know how I would have felt about it if I didn't know that three of the songs from Nirvana's Unplugged album were covers from this album. But since I knew that, I heard it as a thread connecting Zeppelin and the Ramones with Nirvana. Yeah his voice is annoying but I really just wanted to go smoke a cigarette in a bar and hear them live with Kurt and the boys.
Meh. Dancing Shoes was on heavy rotation for me when this came out but I could never get into it as much as some people did.
I bet people love getting high and listening to this at Red Rocks while wearing Keens and man buns. Too mellow for me.
Totally embarrassed that I never knew about Faces. So glad for this app and my aunt & uncle! ☺️ Of course Ron and Rod are amazing but I love the keyboards!
I LOVE the instrumentals and then feel like the lyrics/vocals kinda ruin it.
I just can't with the jam band stuff.
Ok on the heels of a few albums where I thought "I'm so tired of musicians who are just impressed with themselves and don't care about entertainment value unless the music is paired with party favors" it was hard to hear this for the amazing music that it is. I would love to sit in a smoky bar in a big city and listen to this. But as it was I was in the car with my kids screaming and it just ... added to the cacophony. Sorry to the millions of people and Coltrane himself that I have seriously offended.
Some really beautiful songs. I loved April the 14th.
More annoyed than impressed. But there were definitely some catchy bass lines in there.
I forgot how much I love The Doors.
Ahhh the soundtrack of my middle/high school dances. I'm kind of surprised they let us listen to this. 😳
I mean, there was nothing terrible about it. I was just bored.
If I'm sticking to my rating system, I WAS more annoyed than impressed. But it's not poor Crosby's fault. I'm just ready for the generator to get away from folk/psychedelic. My Spotify is now almost exclusively recommending Radiohead for me because it thinks that's all I listen to.
So many bad words!! It made me wonder if Eric can still rap Break Ya Neck. I wish he'd play with us. <sigh>
Love love love.
Some of it was ok, kinda reminded me of Portishead. But overall not really my jam.
I can't, sorry.
I've never heard this album! So good.
I couldn't even listen to it. Yuck.
Ok, nothing earth-shattering but nothing too annoying either.
I think the scales tipped towards a five on this guy not because it is so good and I didn't realize all of these songs were on one album, but because the playlist Spotify played when it was over was incredible. Cyndi Lauper, Bryan Adams, Toto, Kansas... just so good.
Fun fun fun. Much more enjoyable to listen to than lots of other albums on here. But I really want some chips and salsa now.
Now that's music.
I've always been somewhat annoyed by Paul Simon's solo stuff. But this is a good album!
Loved the title track. A little morose for four stars but it is really good.
Sorry, more annoyed than impressed. I know it's Brian Eno... I just can't.
I didn't realize that I associate steel guitar with country music AND The Byrds, yet here we are. Loved it.
Unimpressed by the rest of the album but I love I've Seen All Good People. a)I also love how they have the tracks organized in outline format! b)that's all.
I almost gave it a five and then I thought of other Beatles albums that are better and wanted to make room for them. ♥️
At first I was digging it and as it went on I started to hate it.
Just like the Beatles, I had to grade on a curve against his other albums. A five compared with the other albums in the world, but this isn't a five the way Born to Run is a five. Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuce!
Not my favorite Doors album, but it's still the Doors
Not for me.
I guess I can't say I listened because I only made it through half of the first song.
Not as good as the Folsom version, but I love these albums.
Man, some parts of some songs were pushing me towards a five rating. But overall, solid, enjoyable rock-n-roll.
Love Depeche Mode
I had Jack and Cal help me rate this and they actually gave it rave reviews.
Not for me
There's just something about an album that came out the year you turned 21... Lots of memories. And I was surprised by how many different styles they sampled.
Pretty good. Never heard of them before this! 😳
I couldn't do it
Perfectly pleasant
Man, I was close to giving this a 5. In the end I couldn't tell if it was Elvis or the glass of wine I was having. But just excellent music.
Love love love. I couldn't give them 5 because I didn't give Elvis 5.
Lovely, if repetitive.
Jesus Walks is a fave. And for all his shortcomings, Kanye can drop a beat.
