I forgot how unique Joni's voice is.

Very melancholy. It's sad poetry. I should read the lyrics but not motivated to do so.

I could hear the influences of other musicians, which I enjoyed. The music did not hold my attention. I lost interest. The singing didn't add much to the performance.

Great album. Classic Springsteen.

Classic jazz album. A live performance played with such precision.

I enjoyed the album. But I couldn't help but think of all the original black artists who played this music. When I look at when this was made this recording was new for it's time.

I really liked this more than I expected to. I could here the influences of Gil- Scott Heron. I will listen to it again reading the lyrics to get the full message.

I could see how this band influenced others. Definitely could hear they are a British band. Sound quality felt off but that may have been part of their sound

I haven't listened to an entire MJ album in along time. He was such a talented musician. The music was layered and interesting. While I didn't like all the songs the ones I did were fantastic

I will definitely listen to this again. I was familiar with Can You Get to That. Great song. More varied musically than I expected.

This is one I need to listen to many times to get the full effect. There is artistry here that I don't think you can uncover in one casual listen

Not a big fan of this style of music. I like their song with less crazy guitar. I did like hearing Dave Grohl on drums. I prefer the Foo Fightere

Rumors is much better but this one is still good. Album doesn't really hold together track to track.

I like the Temptations but i think there are other bands which have more depth and perform the same type if music.

I hadn't heard Ryan Adam's before listening to this. At first I liked the music and songs but as it went on I got bored. The lyrics didn't hold up for me. Then after learning more about Ryan Adams it brings up the conundrum of can you listen to someone's music and disregard the person.

Classic S&G album. Every song has merit. All these years later it evokes times past but doesn't feel dated.

I could hear the influences of Bowie and Lou Reed. His voice is nothing special. The music was better than I remembered.

Interesting, but a whole abulm is a lot. Not my taste but i do appreciate the musicianship. The band sounds like they are having a blast.

I think Prince is extremely talented. Great music and guitar.

This is an album I am very familiar with. Before listening to it for this review I thought maybe I like it so much because of the time in my life when I first heard it. I can honestly say that is not the case. VF holds its own as a great album.

Fun for a couple of songs.

Local band. Another group that was heavily influenced by Lou Reed and the Velvet Underground. I did enjoy it but I prefer the VU

I really enjoyed this. Psychedelic rock. He was clearly very talented. I forgot how short Little Wing was. I tend to listen to Stevie Ray Vaughan 's version which is much more powerful. It seems like JH was only giving us a preview if what this sound could be.

I am a Fleetwood Mac fan and I think this is their best album. So many great songs highlighting the talents of all the band members. The songs don't get old.

The first song sounded like a soundtrack to a movie of people dancing high on drugs. Overall I liked most of the songs. The vocals didn't add much. One song got to be annoying

The hits are great of course. But some of the songs aren't up to EJ standards.

It's been a while since I listened to a full album of Monk. I really enjoyed this one. The crazy piano cords were not as prevalent here but you could hear him experimenting with the music. He truly a master and this album shows it.

I am a Stevie Wonder fan. This album does not disappoint. It is a combination of love songs and social commentary. The social issues he sings about are still relevant 50 years later. The music is just as powerful as the words. I especially love when he adds the harmonica. Would give this a 4.5

I am very familiar with the Who but never listened to this album. I really enjoyed hearing where they started.

Her voice was very inconsistent. Thr only song I really liked was Can't Let Go. It was upbeat and fun.

I listened to this in the background. Maybe that's why it didn't keep my attention. I have not listened to a lot of Dolly Parton but I am aware of her contributions to country music.

I am very familiar with this album. Janis ' voice is like no other, raw and emotional. Her version of Summertime is one of my favorites. Its tragic to listen knowing she would be gone at 27 a couple of years after Cheap Thrills.

Love this album. CK is a great song writer. These songs make me smile. They hold up to the passage of time.

I love Baby's on Fire. This album is very campy. It was hard to stay focused on it while I was listening to it. I would rate this as 2.5. Rounding up to 3

I enjoyed this much more than I expected. More nuanced then the heavy metal I assumed i would hear.
