Groovy, good tunes, not too heavy or fast but fun and good vibes

Decent, pretty normal alt/punk sounds for its time

the keyboard and guitar on this album feels, ELECTRIC. the end of the album takes it slow and lets you soak in tbe beauty

with all the hype I hear around Fiona Apple, I had high expectations. Not really a fan of her singing style

damn near perfect album. it takes you through kendrick's struggles with peer pressure and life in compton as a young man. it has bangers, beautifully written stories, and tragedy. a must listen

The electric sounds in this album has a romantic feel to it somehow. Very calming to listen to, and the fee vocals in it are nice

sounds like I’m listening to a rookie band that hasn’t figured out how to do vocals yet

cohesive album from start to finish. classic queen sound, an album that has none of the hits I've heard before but all the songs are equally good

Light hearted punk album. A lot of instrumentals in each song sound the same, almost gives me beach vibes, but that's not necessarily a bad thing

groovy album with a variety of sounds between songs. easy listen but not jaw dropping, would give a 3.5

melodramatic singing in my opinion. he has a kind of theater kid voice for some reason. a few good songs like "Oh, California", but the rest of the songs seem like it's teasing/progressing to a big moment, but that moment never comes

Having so many classic on one album is an impressive feat, especially for their first album. But because of that, I have high standard for every song on a Led Zeppelin album, and there are two that don't hold up to the rest, stopping it from being a perfect album

Lana's voice is captivating the whole way through, which is what I think carries the album. It can distract you from the songs sounding a bit too similar. I enjoyed the whole album, so I can't really give it low marks. But it would be nice to hear more variation

Didn’t feel exciting, not bad but not good

Just simple amazing classic soul/R&B with a lot of rock undertones too. It's weird to hear so many songs that have been covered over the years.

the classic rock n roll is good but it’s very instrumentally focused and I found myself waiting for my generation and magic bus to start. the vocals are great so its a shame that its limited here

First time listening to this genre of music, it’s a nice blend of jazz, acoustics, maybe latin dance? Either way, Youssou does a good job on vocals. Short album, but it’s a nice listen the whole way through

Amazing display of sending a political message through art with this album. They made an album you can bump to while also speaking on the American social and political climate in America at the time, although a lot of it still applies today. Chuck carries the whole thing, Flava Flav doesn’t add enough for me to consider him part of the music

Eh, if you like American oldies sound of music, you'll probably like this. The southern twang never appeals to me, but I don't think the substance is necessarily bad

amys voice is good but I don’t like the sound of it personally. feels like a less exciting lady gaga

First introduction to samba and it was so fun the whole way through. Really groovy but chill at the same time. You can feel the culture through the instrumentals and his carries you through the whole thing

really great folk stuff here. but with there being two discs it’s just so long (2 hours) and can’t really listen to the whole thing in one sitting. i’d say half is good and half is okay, but it leads me to skip some songs that are 9 minutes of instrumentals

not terrible, but not good. The grandiose singing and pianos get very ranty and I'm never sure when the songs are gonna end. It feels fun tho so I'd give it like a 5

Another great album from Stills. It’s exactly what I imagine from folky rock. I think all of the songs are more than listenable. Album is a bit long, but other than that it’s good

What can I say that hasn’t already be said about this. Kendrick made such a funky rap album really good listen. But beyond that, the subject material takes you through his thoughts on black culture and history, with his theme of the album coming together on the last song. In a lot of ways it also feels like a continuation of GKMC to me. I remember the day it came out still and it’ll always have a place on my rotation. Despite all that, there are albums of his I do like better

classic beatles yknow but a bit one note

kinda crazy knowing this came out 40 years ago and its still so unique and hype. pretty revolutionary. so many led zeppelin homages in it too!

a lot of features at the beginning which were good but make me confused on who I was listening to. the later part queen latifah starts rapping and it’s nice but it’s very 80s rap, giving the “my name’s nate and i got to say, today is a very nice day” vibes. the instrumentals go on too long at the end too. overall she’s good but it’s def dated.

Honestly a lot of interesting views he brings up about societal issues. A lot of things I imagine were unpopular at the time in the music industry. But at some point for me the music needs to be on par with the message and I can’t see myself listening to this for anything besides the political messaging. It’s not bad music by any means just missing some oomph
