1001 Albums Summary

Just saw her tour this fall. She is an incredible showman (show woman?). I have a real soft spot for her.

I’m more of a dookie fan but fun album.

Genre defining. Not my sweet spot but still holds up in an odd way for 50 years.

I always wondered how many cigarettes he had to get that raspiness. Such a wildly chaotic album.

One of my buddies is obsessed with this album and the movie. It’s incredible musicianship.

Respect but before my time.

Cool vibe. Literally never heard this before.

Sour times one of the greatest singles of my youth. It had such a unique sound and sparked for me an interest in that trip hop sound. Morcheeba. Massive Attack. Tricky. Blonde Redhead.

Love this album.

Pretty classic Johnny Cash.

I need to spend more time with the Prince catelog.
