much prefer this to OK Computer - Thom Yorke's voice much better suits softer music.

Hurt is an all-timer, but the rest of this album feels like a covers album in a way Hurt doesn't.

Bowie has a base level of competence but I'm not going to return to this. It's not surprising that Fame and Young Americans are the two songs which have entered the Bowie canon.

It's fine, I prefer more melodic or harder punk where the song writing is more complex

I like the riff rock, I dislike the prog rock. Only the strongest neutral feelings.

If this is the last punk album to break through into the cultural mainstream, at least it goes out on an unbelievable high.

I can't tell whether he's being playful with the genre exploration or trying too hard to separate himself from Genesis but I cannot do listening to it.

The problem is that I cannot imagine anyone enjoying this record. It's new wave with the edges sandblasted down, it has left-wing lyrics packaged with such a glossy sheen they slide right over you.

I simply don't care for it

I expected more given how well this album is spoken about.

Dunno if I prefer the Bowie mix or the Pop one, but this album slaps regardless

This is impressive in the way someone making a Lego model of your sleep paralysis demon would be: you can marvel at the technical prowess but the artistic direction is somewhat suspect.
