Van Halen by Van Halen
Mar 12 2025

Not as heavy as I thought it would be, some really nice guitar solos and I think synths in there. Some pieces of country music in there which I liked mixed with the rock and roll.

Led Zeppelin II by Led Zeppelin
Mar 13 2025

I liked it but wasn't something I would go back to. It was old school rock but not too heavy, I liked the electric guitar throughout and they had some drum sessions which I thought where cool. The long bongos one that turns in to the heavy rock song I liked.

Mar 14 2025

I like hip hop/ rap music this was welcomed. I also like Outkasts most popular songs, I didnt realise they had this many sounds or had these other sounds. I liked the album but something I probably wouldn't listen to again.

Catch A Fire by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Aug 26 2026

I liked the album however it's not something I would listen to again back to back - there are some tracks like 'Kinky Reggae' I liked from the lyrics and others for rhythm. I'm not a huge fan of reggae and it's not really a genre I reach for but I would play more and place this on in the house as background music.

Blackstar by David Bowie
Sep 01 2026

I like Bowie but I felt I was comparing this against his peak and I wasn't the biggest fan - I did like some of the tracks but It's something I wouldn't reach for a again. I think this is iconic as it's the last one before he passed.

The Hour Of Bewilderbeast by Badly Drawn Boy
Sep 02 2026

I didn't pay enough attention but it didn't pull me in either - I've heard some of these songs before but didn't realise they where from this album.

Histoire De Melody Nelson by Serge Gainsbourg
Sep 04 2026

I have no idea as to why I loved this but I was completely obsessed with this album - I listened to it 5/6 times. It made me feel as though I was in a 70's film - I later found out that was the purpose but I could see France back then and a love story between two people in all its retroness.

C'est Chic by CHIC
Sep 07 2026

I was teed up to this album from the last, I was in this older grooving style so I did like this album. There was some hits on there that I've heard before and some smoother songs - I was into it for sure.

The Man Machine by Kraftwerk
Sep 08 2026

I'm a big fan of Daft Punk and you can see where the roots of this music started here with German and Belgium electronic music - it was cool to see how far this goes back. Some of the melodies and drawn out songs lasting 7+ minutes again is classic DP so this album felt familiar although it was new.

Pacific Ocean Blue by Dennis Wilson
Sep 09 2026

I thought it had a good couple of songs on there some nice melodies and a rocky song I was into similar to the blues rock rhythm. Something I probably wouldn't come back to but I wouldn't skip if it came on.

Dirt by Alice In Chains
Sep 10 2026

I didn't hate it this just isn't my taste of music - I only seem to like some heavy rock music and I didn't really take to this. There was a couple of songs I would listen to again but I wouldn't reach for them.
