Missy ElliottBangers a-plenty. Really enjoyed this, although the spoken word bits sound like an earnest podcast. Tunes though!

Not a country person, but loved the energy and the humor in this performance.

Dreamy record that I reckon I could really fall for in my youth when I had more time and less choice at my fingertips. Not an instant love though.
Getting hit with some jazz records early in this challenge. Enjoyable background music, but I struggle to stay focused on record, and feels more like the type of thing that would be so much more powerful and engaging live. This is just me, struggling to connect with jazz as a genre. Great name though!
Mostly swamp rock that didn’t quite fit the idea I had from Free Bird or Sweet Home Alabama. Was fine, but didn’t really grab my attention until the last track. Doubt I’ll revisit.
Not at all what I expected, but really enjoyed this.
Whenever I hear reggae music I enjoy it, but have never truly dug below the surface because it seems like such an overwhelming genre to dive into without a decent guide to it. Maybe this is my starting point - will revisit

Decent live album, but lacked the spark of Johnny Cash at Fulsome Prison for example.
Perfectly pleasant, but totally overshadowed by All I Wanna Do, with none of the other tracks leaving a lasting memory.
A rare re-listen on the same day. Not as immediately accessible as Transformer, but not at difficult a listen as I’d been led to believe. Really enjoyed this and will return.
Was not expecting this to be so much fun. Seems I have always underestimated Slade as part of the glam movement.
A few bangers that I already knew, but am now annoyed at myself for not digging into this album before. There are signs here of the band that (in my opinion) produce one of the great runs of near-perfect albums within a decade. Will definitely listen again.
My third favourite Pink Floyd album, but still a stunning achievement. So many layers, and little things that open up on every listen.
One poor song at the end can’t derail a 5-star album the rest of the way. Assuming you can also separate the art from the artist.
There’s a five-star album in here, but the back end, although still interesting, doesn’t fit the vibe of the early stretch of the album. That said, some absolute tunes on here.
A debut album has no right to contain this many classics. Brilliant.
Half the album are stone cold classics, with the other half being somewhat forgettable.
Decent listen, but didn’t grab me. Worth it for the acapella version of Back To Life though!
Don’t know what I was expecting, but it wasn’t this. Opened my eyes to a completely new band and given me a new found appreciation for the use of the flute in rock music.
Fun album, with definite glimpses of the band the Beatles would become. Few too many covers to be a classic album IMO.
One heavily blues inspired album that I think would sound better live. None of the songs particularly caught my attention, but it was a perfectly pleasant listen.
Fine.
Really grew on me as it went on. Encouraged me to delve further into Talking Heads than my best of CD.
