Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones

Fantastic album. Not a complete no-skip album but all the songs work well together

Head Hunters by Herbie Hancock
Jun 06 2025

Funkyyyyy. Immediate toe tapper on the first track. Kinda long songs but they seem to keep my attention. Drummer needs a raise. Track 2 is insanely creative, loved it. Not into track 3 - felt like I was being yelled at by Jazz the whole time. Track 4 is some serious false advertising. “Vein Melter” could not be further from the truth for a song this slow and dull. Overall alright but wouldn’t listen again as a whole. 3/5

Live And Dangerous by Thin Lizzy

Perfectly fine - some standout songs like Jailbreak, Emerald, and TBABIT, but otherwise wasn’t engaged by the music. 3/5

Fantastic album. Not a complete no-skip album but all the songs work well together

Songs Of Leonard Cohen by Leonard Cohen
Jun 09 2025

Some great moments on this album. “So Long, Marianne” has some much needed instrumentation other than acoustic guitar. I feel like I get why people think Leonard Cohen is great, but it’s a little bit slow for my tastes. Perhaps if there were more instruments throughout the album it would pick up a bit.

The Cars by The Cars
Jun 10 2025

First three songs are classics. Fourth song is a little whack at times. Track 5 sounds like a more 80’s version of a Beatles song. I think I’ve heard most of these songs before and I like almost all of them. Moving in Stereo is a bop 4/5

1984 by Van Halen
Jun 11 2025

A fun, adrenaline filled, over-the-top album of swinging drums, massive guitar solos, and DLRs vocals. An album that demonstrates EVH’s incredible guitar skills while also showing his interest in synths and new wave. Greatest album of all time? No. Tons of fun if you wanna rock? Hell yes. 4/5

Love shoegaze and this album is the essential shoegaze record

Debut by Björk

Really couldn’t get into this genre

Here, My Dear by Marvin Gaye
Jul 10 2025

Hard to rate any Marvin Gaye album lower than a 5 due to the outstanding musicality, singing, and production quality. Marvin always surrounded himself with good musicians. The themes in this album didn’t really resonate with me though

Imagine by John Lennon

Amnesiac by Radiohead
Aug 19 2025

I’ve started my Radiohead journey recently, beginning with The Bends. This album is quite the departure from The Bends, and while some songs I enjoy quite a bit, Amnesiac doesn’t quite resonate with me as much as some of their other albums I’ve listened to.
