Achtung Baby
U2I'm not a huge U2 fan, but do own all their CD's. This is not one of my favorites by them but it certainly isn't the worst.

I never really got into Portishead. This album ventures a little too far off center for me. Some of the songs remind me of Poe, whom I actually like better.
While Bowie may be a Rock-n-Roll icon, I can take him or leave him. This album was just okay to me.
A timely album to listen to being it's a day after Ozzy's passing. The album that started it all for him and what a musical career he had! I never was a Black Sabbath or Ozzy fan. Although, I have come to appreciate his music and definitely get pumped up every time I hear "Crazy Train" at a football game.
Rap, R&B, & Soul are not my top genres of music to listen to, although I do like and appreciate some artists in those genres. Lauryn Hill just isn't for me.
A truly classic album! This would certainly rank in my Top 1000! Paul's musical style and lyrical content make this a great listen. The older I get, the more and more I love the music from the 80's! Graceland & You Can Call Me Al are right up there as some of the best songs from the best decade of music!
The album that started it all for Green Day. It's great from start to finish! I was in college when it came out and have had it in my collection since day one.
I love a good classic rock album, but this one would not make my Top 100 in this genre.
I remember when this album came out but never really jumped on the eels bandwagon. Listening through this record makes me want to add it to my CD collection and investigate the rest of the eels discography. I like that he doesn't shy away from subject matter or deep personal feelings or even asking questions about something greater in this world. My favorite lyrics on this album are from "Novocaine for the Soul"... "You better give me something so I don't die... Jesus and his lawyer are coming back." While it's my understanding that E isn't a Christian, there were no truer words spoken. Jesus will fill the hole in your life.
This album came out a year after I was born. I've never heard of this band before and certainly didn't recognize any of their songs. It's a good classic rock album but didn't really do anything for me.
The album that got me into R.E.M. And now I own their entire discography! Automatic For The People is packed with great songs! From the lead song Drive to Everybody Hurts to Man on the Moon! The band released a total of 6 singles with three of them hitting the Top 30 on the Billboard chart.
Another early 70's album by a group I haven't heard of. I would have been okay with having never heard it.
While I do like Genesis, this album is not even close to my favorite of theirs. This album falls in and out of psychedelic rock sounds, which just doesn't do it for me.
Radiohead is a good band. My son loves them! He says this is the best album ever recorded. For me, it's just so so.
Another new listen. The Pentangle is a 60's version of Edward Sharpe & The Magnificent Zeros. I'm much rather listen to ES&TMZ!
I moved to the Nashville area in 1999. While I knew of Johnny Cash before I moved, I really learned what a legend he was in this town! You can't help but start to like his music while living in Nashville! I certainly became a fan! What a great live record that really showcases his personality and some of his biggest hits! R.I.P. Johnny!
most of this album gave me a headache, but that's the case with most Jazz music. I can appreciate his talent and artistry, but my ears can't.
My techno eays are long behind me!
yeah, not a fan!
One of these days the AG will tell me to listen to a band I've never heard of and I'll actually like it. Not so here.
classic group with a classic hit "The Weight"! Their name is either really clever and some sort of inside joke or really boring and no one could come up with anything good.
Great album, great songs! The beginning of a good run of music from Duran Duran!
not awful for a jazz album
The older I get the less I enjoy listening to harder rock music. I was never into Korn anyway. So, from a musical perspective, I didn't really care for this album. I do like Brian "Head" Welch's story, which can be read in his book "Save Me From Myself". An amazing redemptive story!
All of a sudden I'm in the mood for Mexican food! And a Mexican restaurant about the only place I really care to listen to this kind of music.
A good, but not amazing album from a classic rock group.
It's Prince! It's the 80's! It's good! While I was never a huge Prince fan, I've always liked his music. This album seems a bit more mellow than some of his other releases, and for me, didn't have recognizable hits.
Great album! Adele is amazing! 21 brings back a lot of good memories. One of which is my daughter and her friend making a video to Rumour Has It. They substituted "rumour" with our dog's name "Boomer". It was super cute and had shots of Boomer through out the video. Anyway, back to the music... Adele's voice is amazing! This was definitely her breakout album with hits scattered throughout!
meh.. r&b... not my thing.
not all music is for all people... this would not make my Top 2000.
