this really was bowie's last album
didn't think I'd listen so soon but I really loved it. the jazz rock inspiration just made it so MMMM to listen to
I actually really like this one, especially the closing track
made me wanna listen to morning glory again
this got me to listen to their self titled twice
which, I've only done l.a. woman once but I will relisten eventually
clint eastwood is a banger and this album was pretty fun and enjoyable
definitely will have to check out more gorillaz given how good I've heard their next two albums are

I'm only sleeping is catchier than it deserves to be. it's probably one of their most impressive compositions
love you to is pretty cool, it's my least favorite song on the album but it's nice seeing george branch out into the east asian stuff that he cooked with even more on sgt pepper's
here there and everywhere is just delightful. love when paul does a softer ballad
yellow submarine too! I'm a lover of all things ringo and this song is catchy and delightful! but his voice cracks at the 1:58 mark 0/10 song
she said she said is a banger. not much to say here but I always love songs with subverted rhymes

and your bird can sing slaps so hard and john's range here is incredible
for no one is probably their saddest and I'd put it as my third fav beatles track (behind a day in the life & in my life). having it after a song basically about the same thing but way less petty... damn. also I'm a big paul fan lol I said that already
doctor robert is funny after for no one and I like when they sing about drugs

nice listening to something with a female vocalist for once given most of the bands I like are mostly guys, and she has a great voice!
it's interesting also having music without a bassline, it's kind of jarring but the songs are still great, especially maps which will be a song I revisit a lot more
