Pleasant listening while I made dinner

Wow. Hated it. I was looking forward to experiencing this album, assuming that it would be track after track that I knew but didn't recognize from their titles. Nope! Knew 3 songs and didn't like the rest. Boo.

I really enjoyed this album. I knew none of the songs, yet they were good listening. Some songs drew a clear line to their influences, which made them feel almost familiar.

Jim Croce vibes.

Haven't ever listened to Black Sabbath before. Didn't hate it. Thought it would be more aggressive. Changes was downright sweet, but whoever approved FX should be fired.

A 30 min album?

Why are the little pixies so angry? The first track was terrific. The last one was good, too. The middle…

I don't know how I love Pink Floyd yet found this so bizarre and cacophonous. Stopped listening halfway through. There were not enough drugs to finish the ride.

Does it make me a bad woman/feminist that I didn't really care for this album? If I had more time I might give it another listen, but I've got a new album to listen to today so it probably won't happen.

Iconic! Just a beautiful album to listen to.

I was annoyed that I was served another punk album and I almost skipped this one, BUT I didn't hate it. It was pretty fun! I don't ever need to listen to it again, but I kind of got a kick out of it.

Solid album! I even enjoyed the songs I didn't know like: Don’t Look Back in Anger and She’s Electric.

What a talented badass she was at 19! Fierce album.

As someone who enjoyed 80’s pop, I was surprised not to know any of the songs. It was a decent listen. On a few songs it seemed like she was singing in another language, so I tried to look at the lyrics but they were unavailable. I looked them up afterwards and learned that singing unintelligibly was her thing. :/

From some of the most iconic vibes of all time to some really sappy love songs. I adore Stevie Wonder, but not every song on this album.

I think Rush was a fun band, but Something for Nothing - last song - was the only one I liked. This album didn't do it for me. Glad it was only 39 minutes long.

Ugh, Pixies again? I should only have to listen to them once. Yet I hated this album less.

I really don't need to listen to any more punk albums. Never having heard of Television I kind of appreciated their music, but the singing killed it for me.

Yikes, these poor kids were so angry and frustrated. How terrible to think that nothing much has changed with regards to the relationship between young urban men and the police. I respect that they turned their emotions into music, but wow, the misogyny is a lot. All that said, there are some iconic tracks that bring you back to the time this album was made.

Music like this is why I stopped listening to the radio in the 90’s.

Iconic. Even though it’s been derided as more pop than rock, this was the album that made me a Bruce Springsteen fan. I loved every song when it came out and I still know all the words 40 years later.

So, I like a few Kate Bush songs. But this album was pretty terrible.

I was psyched when the album kicked off with some fun funky vibes, but I gradually lost interest as it went along (except for Summer Breeze of course).

Beautiful harmonies and some classic tunes, but I don't know what was going on with that Bob Dylan-esque song and Silent Night/7 o'clock News was a failed experiment. I get what they were trying to do, but no.

Perhaps this music is just too complex for me, but the whole album sounded like the music that would play in a movie when the femme fatale entered the room, only much more chaotic.

Fantastic vacation vibes. This album makes me want to sip a sultry cocktail.

Some groovy, Beatles-esque tunes, but only one great one: Waterloo Sunset.

Wow. I loved this album back in the day, but 30 years later find dear Alanis rather annoying. I don't know when I would choose to listen to this again. Brought back good memories, though.

I was so excited to listen to this iconic, highly regarded album for the first time. I feel like a terrible person for saying this, but I just didn't enjoy her high peeping voice.

Solid album! Took me a while to get to the whole thing and I kept restarting it - as a result I got pretty attached to "You Can All Join In"! I felt like I could hear nuances of their future hits on this album.
