1001 Albums Summary

Many many people have articulated my two rating thoughts and the reasons for it much better than I could. Couple bangers, but like someone said, saps the energy out of me.

I recently listened to this album and gave it five stars. I suspect when I listen to it again I will want to give six stars. And so on. It’s sooo good.

Dirty Diana and Smooth Criminal are bona fide number 1s but looking at this from an album perspective, it felt kind of flat so scoring it appropriately..

This is such a phenomenal album. I remember in my early years, listening to this album on repeat from start to finish. One of those albums you know the next song before it even starts. I think the next song I learn on the drums should be Hotel California.

A lot of a mixed emotion about Eric Clapton and this album. Undoubtedly, good musicianship and production. Wish he’d given more credit where credit is due.

Honestly, I don’t know that I knew a lot about Pavement but this was a good listen

Breakdown and American girl weigh heavily on my rating enough to shift it a full star up. This album is like a sandwich when the best parts are the bread.

Look I get it it’s Moby, but there’s some decent music on this album. I’d put this on the south side of a four. See what I did there? Yeah so I’m rounding down to 3

This is art. Beautiful to some, not so much to others, but I do appreciate the work.
