The Doors by The Doors
Dec 09 2025

So many iconic and timeless songs. The more meandering and psychedelic bits aren't really my thing, but a great album nevertheless.

Different Class by Pulp
Dec 10 2025

Dark and weird, but I like dark and weird! Common People is a 5* song. Songs switch instantly from bizarre to extremely catchy.

In Rainbows by Radiohead
Dec 11 2025

This has always been my favorite Radiohead album. It's a perfect example of why I'm a music over lyrics person. I just let the vibes lay over me. Top song: Jigsaw Falling Into Place

Mothership Connection by Parliament
Dec 12 2025

Got funked up, had a good time. But, I need to be in the right mood to listen to this album again. A+ dancing music, B- sitting and listening music Top song: Give Up the Funk

Dec 15 2025

It's impossible to listen to this without thinking about how far Kanye has fallen since. His egotistical but self-deprecating lyrics are less charming now. They make me feel pity and disgust. He is still such a talented composer and producer. How should we interact with art, when the artists are gross, despicable people, struggling with mental illness, yet still talented and putting themselves on display for people's entertainment? Top Song: All of the Lights

C'est Chic by CHIC
Dec 16 2025

Infectious disco! This album was a pleasure and a surprise. Top song: Savoir Faire

Chris by Christine and the Queens
Dec 17 2025

Dark, queer pop should be a hit for me, but this album didn't get there. The music didn't grab me. I had a hard time understanding the lyrics. Upon listening to Disc 2, the songs are a lot better in the original French, despite not understanding French at all! I still don't expect to listen to this again. 2.5* Top song: 5 dols

Led Zeppelin IV by Led Zeppelin
Dec 18 2025

My dislike of Classic Rock has less to do with the music and more to do with the old dudes who say it's the only music worth listening to. Some of these songs have become annoying due to repetition. Some I still enjoyed, but I have no desire to listen again soon. Favorite song: Stairway to Heaven 3*

White Blood Cells by The White Stripes
Dec 22 2025

Love the top tier of songs, most of the others aren't too memorable. 3.5* Favorite song: Fell in Love with a Girl

Head Hunters by Herbie Hancock
Dec 23 2025

Not bad, not my favorite 3*

Natty Dread by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Dec 24 2025

Hotel California by Eagles
Dec 25 2025

I never liked the eagles. Listening to this in full didn't change my mind. 1.5*
