High 3 star to low 4 star. It has many elements of the era and easy going music; good to listen while driving. Also important to understand the context that this is one of the first use of distortion in a rock album.

Always loved listening to this album. This is one of Elliott Smith’s most complete albums.

The category says pop, but this is really irish folk music, which was very nice and different from what I'm used to listening.

This album reminded me a lot of John Frusciante's Niandra LaDes and Usually Just a T-Shirt, particularly in how unconventional it is, but there are nuggets of melodic ideas. That said, this isn't an album to revisit continously every day, but once in a long while, it would be ok.

Really good album. Hadn't heard The Wall before and although different from what I'm used to from Pink Floyd, definitely interesting ideas and sounds. Reminded me a lot of Queen's albums

Jesus... this was a hard listen. I understand the importance of the album, but similar to Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music, it's very rough, with exception of some glimpses that have interesting ideas. I recognize I'm not much of an avant-garde music person, so take this with a grain of salt.

Beautiful album! A low 5, but a 5 nonetheless. It has everything: great melodies, great singing, great guitar playing. Absolutely beautiful
