1001 Albums Summary

I've never really listened to musch jazz, or Bosa Nova in particular, so this album was very new to me. It kept my attention, and was interesting musically. For me to think that as a rock/metal fan must mean it's pretty good.

Old timey music is very much not my forte. But there were some cool moments with nice piano playing.

One of the greats of the pop punk genre. For what it is, it doesn't get much better than this.

I’m trying to rate these albums in the context of the style and time in which they appear. Beatles albums are never going to top my personal lists, but I do thoroughly enjoy this one. Everyone should hear it.

Some Stones fans will take this as blasphemy, but this was just ok generic blues rock. Better stuff came later in the Stones career. But I guess this may have seemed more groundbreaking at the time. There are a few bangers here.

Good album, a seminal pop punk release. Personally I prefer American Idiot.

Would be good movie music, it’s cinematic and evokes a feeling, but I didn’t enjoy it as an album listening experience.

Some bangers, but some of the ambient stuff doesn't do it for me.

I generally don't care for electronic music, and I'm not going to go out and buy this, but for what it is it was pretty dang cool!
